THE BRIEFING ROOM

THE WHITE HOUSE

Office of the Press Secretary ______________________________________________________________________ FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 7, 2009

Statement from the President on Health Care Reform

"I am pleased by the progress we're making on health care reform and still believe, as I've said before, that one of the best ways to bring down costs, provide more choices, and assure quality is a public option that will force the insurance companies to compete and keep them honest. I look forward to a final product that achieves these very important goals."

The LAST thing this Marxist wants is CHOICES for the American citizen. He wants POWER AND CONTROL for himself and his Marxist staff over YOU and as many aspects of your life as he can get control.

It is not about healthcare — why else would someone DESTROY the best system in the world? You cannot provide BETTER health care through socialism — we know that — the world knows that. It is about POWER. And only power.

0bama is a liar plain and simple. How can a private company, that has to operate based on profit and loss, compete to supply the same product with the government that will fund itself from the bottomless pit of tax payer's dollars?

Obviously it can't. The market forces accountability while the government bypasses accountability by simply voting to ignore the losses and fund the expenses.
