I'll be on hiatus into July after this. So I looked for some waterfall pictures as a send-off.

Not just very nice; probably the best waterfalls in the World. Much wider and much more impressive than Niagara. They are Iguazzu, located at the border of Argentina and Brazil with Paraguay about 3 miles upstream and visible. You can view the falls from either side and both have hotels and interests. The Brazil side has an amazing bird park which is a must-see!

I learned to rappel in this gorge, about fifty feet deep. It's at William Paterson University (then college) in New Jersey. It has a nice view.
There was another one not far away, back when Bergen County still had thousands of acres of woodlands in it. The other one had a greater total height, but it was broken up into several smaller courses. It was a shale outcrop and the flow wasn't very strong, so we could climb it. I've loved waterfalls ever since I was old enough to go play near them.
