In the Late '70's-Early 80's, my Favorite Pair of Dress Heels was a Pair with a Style Similar to this:
The Platforms of the Shoes were Made of Dark-Colored Wood, or Cork, and were So Neat! The Strap on One of them Finally Broke, so I Reluctantly Retired them, but they were my All-Time Favorite Pair of Shoes.

oh yuk.. ugly. but when I think that — well, it normally becomes the latest craze..
well, I wont even get those at the 2nd hand store. Give me some stilettos or strappy slings (or if I am sensible something with a low heel!)
got caught in rain for hike with dogs.. my 3 hours planned turned to 45 min
Last Yoga class til Sept. Will continue with massages on Tuesd.. might try to find a yoga class closer. I am NOT good at working out alone, even though I know better & taught PE for years... the word is lazy I believe
temps in high 60s here today. relief from heat and high humidity
my brother & wife loved the Celtic women concert in Tulsa that I had given them tickets to attend. I was pretty sure they would & was also pretty sure that they would not have gone without the tickets provided.
too many funerals once again the past few weeks.. the youngest 33, the daughter of a dear friend (breast cancer) and a gal my son dated a bit in High school
I have been going crosseyed doing pix editing.. total of 8 projects the past 2 weeks & thousands of pix. Most people simply have no idea what is involved to put together a Picasa file of 50 or so pix. I keep saying I will do less, but then it seems I am doing more.
something very wrong with that picture, huh?
dogs fine, mom onery(so that means fine) and kitties rule the house..
