As I remember , Kris had a VERY hard time with her ego on the filming of A STAR IS BORN, (or as the Village Voice called it “ A BORE IS STARRED”. But he was always the gentleman, and just kept it at saying “She’s a perfectionist!”)_
She, however, would respond to his actor’s concerns with things like how he was playing a scene opposite her,and whether she was getting what she needed from him, with “Can you believe he actually thinks that anything he could do would have any effect on me????”

Remember seeing a picture of her on one of her first albums ... don't remember which one, it was back around (early) 1965. Know that at that point in my life I was a young Marine deployed to the Med ... she looked pretty hot to me if you could get over the nose thing.
Lesley Ann Warren was breathtaking in the late ‘60’s. Matter of fact she was a knockout in the ‘80’s. Shameful behavior on the fact of this Stark person, but not unusual. Certainly not back then, still is I’m sure.
Streisand was already a mega-superstar by 1973. I doubt she had to sleep with Stark to get a role in “The Way We Were.”
Looks like Peters was muscled into putting the pen down and stepping away from the desk. He just cancelled his book...
