I don’t know why Pitt wastes his money in New Orleans. These “poor folks” he’s trying to help really don’t appreciate it and I can only imagine what the houses he is trying to have built for them will look like in a couple years. These people are poor by choice. He could spend his money better to help people in Mississippi and parts of Louisiana other then New Orleans. Of course these people have helped themselves by now.

Oh ok, I don’t trust wikipedia so I checked with USGS and you are correct. New Orleans has a minimum elevation (or depression) of 8 feet below sea level.

What happened to Pelosi saying, "I don't speak to that... I'm the Speaker of the House. I don't get into the popular culture." That was reported by CBS News on Jan 29, 2009 about "criticism from Rush Limbaugh and Matt Drudge over the massive stimulus package."

The Democrats don't even hide their hypocrisy anymore. They all have expiration dates on their own statements, while hammering everyone else to death for anything they may have said in the past.
