“Interesting about that creepy feeling.”
I was in Boulder last Friday and had that “creepy feeling” I was worried my truck might be vandalized because of my bumper sticker.
I felt I was in the twilight zone.

Not being harsh. Mountain lions have been known to attack horses.
Boulder backs up to the foothills and anyone should be careful. My friends in Franktown have 10 acres and never let their kids play outside without their two labs with them. Even when on their dirt bikes or ATVs the dogs go with them.
You can never be too careful especially when there are mountain lions that are known to pass through.
That ML might have attacked that woman if the dog was not there.

Yeah, Boulder is a liberal Twilight Zone. Weird little city. It's not all bad, though - Soldier Of Fortune magazine is published out of Boulder... ;-)

We live way out in the sticks and have seen mountain lions on numerous occasions. Thankfully our puppy has never been bothered by one though...

I live SW of Boulder and have had more problems with black bears and boulder hippies than mountain lions. In my opinion, you should be prepared to effectively shoot any of these if the situation warrants.

There is a political side to this mountain lion problem here in Colorado. Same goes for bears.

I was there for a little project at a school. The parking lot looked like an 0bama rally. And I don't know what those folks do with all the school funds, but their buildings are definitely maintenance free zones.

I've worked around mountain lions for years in CA. They don't look for prey that is taller than them. They walk right by me in search of rabbits. Just go to the cantina for a nice hot chili rellino dinner with a beer on the side for lunch.
And blow a good smelly phart when you get back. Those poor dogs will run down that hill with their tongues hanging out and their tails between they're legs faster than you can smell your own phart. And the are already 300 feet from you.
