Mike has to sort out his assistant coaches now. Martz is probably gone, so they need a new offensive coordinator, their 6th one in 6 years.

I'm glad the '9ers are keeping Mike, overall, the team has been playing much better since he took over from "Suits" Nolan.

What do u think about Shaun Hill? The 49ers GM seems to have a mancrush on Alex Smith.

Probably a good choice. Only time will tell.

Should be interesting to see who takes the vacancies at:
Seattle
Cleveland
Detroit

and possibly
Buffalo
Jax
KC
Washington
Dallas
Cincy
NY (J)

If Singletary was white, they would have had a conniption for not interviewing a black

Probably not under these same circumstances, but in general you're right.

Jim Mora was designated the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks for 2009 soon after Holgrem made his announcement it was his last year and a contract has now be signed. He was working with Holgrem as the defensive backs coach this year.

St Louis is almost certain to have an opening.

Singletary doesn’t fit with the 49ers for some reason. He seems like he’d be a perfect fit in an NFC or AFC North division team.

Hey, it’s the first move the 40-Whiners made correctly since they took Alex Smith #1 overall.

Did you watch their game against Washington yesterday? The players looked like they wished it was Week 1 instead of 17. The players think he fits. The fans love him. Mangagement seems happy. How would you define a good fit?
