Tax activist's ad challenges Obama's eligibility for office
Chicago Tribune ^

An anti-tax activist from upstate New York who is questioning whether President-elect Barack Obama is a "natural born citizen" eligible for the nation's top job said Tuesday that his non-profit group spent "tens of thousands of dollars" to get his message across in ads in the Chicago Tribune this week.

Robert L. Schulz, 69, chairman of We The People Foundation, took out ads Monday and Wednesday to raise questions about whether Obama's Hawaii certificate of live birth is authentic.

The ads echo accusations circulated online by some Obama opponents before the election. Cases challenging Obama's citizenship have been tossed out of courts in several states, and Hawaiian officials have vouched for the authenticity of Obama's birth certificate, which is locked in a state vault. The Obama campaign likewise has always dismissed the accusations.

Nevertheless, some critics remain dubious....

An "anti-tax activist" ... ? That's the best ad-hominem the author could come up with to preface this article? Pathetic on two accounts : first for opening an article with a bias, and second for failing to realize that *everyone* who complains about the chunk the Fed takes out of their paycheck is an "anti-tax activist". I qualify. Does anyone here not qualify?

To prevent this from mushrooming into a crisis, Obama should release his Birth Certificate from the Vault.

Omigod, omigod... this is so classic.

" A Tribune advertising spokesman said the newspaper has standards for what ads it will accept and that the ad met those standards."

When I visited the page, they had a video ad for one of the "Jackass" movies running, depicting such high quality advertising as getting kicked in the balls, blowing a high pressure hose up someone's backside, tying off the make genitalia to a rocket, and other "high standard" material.

I laughed my arse off.

I think he should do so if he is to have any Credibility as POTUS with a significant chunk of Americans. Otherwise his authority will be diluted.

If Obama were born outside the U. S. and therefore not Constitutionally eligible to be POTUS, it would be the biggest kept secret in U. S. history.

Now considering that low level clerks in Hawaii have had access to this information, I just find it unbelievable that someone has not come forward and said “I’ve seen the original birth certificate and it says that Obama was born in Mombasa or (you fill in the blank)”.

I just can’t believe that information this valuable wouldn’t have been sold to a publisher, to a wealthy Republican, to Hillary Clinton, if it were true.

So what if the clerk would be violating a privacy act, he/she could hide behind reporter’s confidentiality or could have so many millions given to him/her that the fine for the violation would be a pittance.

Or some clerk (who may be a true patriot and bothered by this attempt to violate the Constitution) would say hang the consequences, these are the facts on the birth certificate.

None of this has happened. There’s likely nothing to this.

This certainly is a strange situation. I have yet to come up with one good reason as to why Obama refuses to release it. He and the DNC are now facing at least 16 lawsuits over this issue. Obama and the DNC refused to respond to the Dec. 1st deadline. There is a conference scheduled for Dec. 5th by the Supreme Court. And still Obama refuses to end this situation by doing something so simple; release it.

Why is there no hospital in Hawaii that says he was born there. In the past, the state a President comes from not only holds celebrations because one of their “homegrown sons” has become President-Elect, they become popular tourist sites, monuments are built, people who knew him as a baby (a nurse, a doctor, a neighbor) flock to the cameras because this is their moment in time to say, “I knew him when...”.

The only place that I am aware of that even declared it a national holiday when Obama was elected and is already building a monument in his honor, is in Kenya.

What is Obama trying to hide from We, the People?

Actually, as much as many wish this could come to fruition, a certain well know columnist/author has nixed any notion of this topic either being “true” and/or viable. He/she/it/them said that at best it’s a pipedreeam, at worst a diversion that will only discredit legitimate opposition to Obama.

Why can’t this well known “columnist/author” be named? What proof does this columnist/author/He/she/it/them have that Obama is in fact eligible to be President and Commander in Chief?

To say that at “worst” it’s a “diversion” that will discredit legitimate opposition to Obama is, in my opinion, absolutely ridiculous.

Why do you, personally, think Obama is spending so much money and effort to conceal his birth certificate, and also other records?

“Why can’t this well known “columnist/author” be named?”

I dunno, but it’s their prerogative to make such a request.

Meanwhile, here’s how Obambi is “spending so much money and effort to conceal his birth certificate”:
