HOUSTON — A week after the election of Barack Obama, gun buyers across the country are voting with their feet, flocking to gun stores to stock up on assault rifles, handguns and ammunition.
Some say they are worried that the incoming Obama administration will attempt to reimpose the ban on assault weapons that expired in 2004. Others fear the loss of their right to own handguns. A few say they are preparing to protect themselves in the event of a race war. ........ One expert sees a darker motive driving some post-election gun purchasers.
"Why are white people buying assault weapons?" said Ben Agger, a sociology professor at the University of Texas at Arlington who wrote a book about the Virginia Tech slayings. "I almost hate to say it, but there is a deep-seated fear of the armed black man, because Obama now commands the military and other instruments of the justice system. They are afraid Obama will exact retribution for the very deep-seated legacy of slavery."

What's this psychobabble pap about Obama and "the armed black man?" Obama is more a beneficiary of this so-called "legacy" than any white person. Which is stupid because no black man today was ever a slave. This idea by blacks of revenge on whites is nothing but the same savagery we see in Africa. If it weren’t for slavery 100 years before their time they would find another excuse, just as the other blacks in Africa have found.
Zimbabwe is kicking out and murdering many white farmers. Now Zimbabwe is without food and in total chaos. Same with just about every other African nation including Obama’s Kenya, which he went over there and participated in the carnage. This isn’t about slavery, this is about savagery.
I have a black guy here at work, makes damned good money, married a white chick and lives an upper middle class lifestyle, yet, he is in a blood thirst against white. He routinely says things like, “Now you white bitches are going to get a taste of your own medicine. It’s revolution time!” He grew up in an Air Force family and lives well, yet, he just can’t wait until “whitey gets his own!” He’s about one racist comment away from being fired and will blame whitey for that, too.
Note the picture: a white guy, (red neck) holding a rifle, not just any rifle, but one that has to scare the crap out of any anti-gun nut, but also those who are more middle of the road. None of the portrayals, the descriptions, motives, etc. described are accidental, but are how the left shapes opinions and attitudes.
Why are (white) people stocking up? "A race war." Not fear of the government or mandatory confiscations, ending the second amendment, hand gun or any other weapon bans...nope, white (red neck) people fear a race war.
Bottom line? The official counter point is that Obama wants common sense gun restrictions, not like the hysterical,(redneck) white people who are getting ready for a race war. This is how they prepare the general population through the press. We are being played again and again.

If someone is so fearful that they are going to start banning weapons to protect their positions in office, it makes me very nervous that these people have a position in government at all.
They can’t disarm CRIMINALS but the law abiding with guns
make them nervous? Good! The only people who fear law
abiding citizens with weapons ARE criminals- or those who
plan to commit crimes.

not buying new assult weapons but i do have a few guns of my own that i recently took out and cleaned and oiled up....now will start to stock up on ammo (you can never be too prepared).....oh yes, i am white also...
If any white person ever said anything remotely as racist as that comment, tehy'd be fired in a heartbeat.
