This is a thread for everyone to make their election prediction in terms of Popular Vote and Electoral College.

O wins popular vote by 4 million.
If Obama pulls out a win.
My tagline changes to: “11/4/08. The day America jumped the shark”

i wish i could be as optimistic as other freepers. i pray i’m wrong.
NH and ME-2 flip red, O takes Iowa, NM, and CO. I agree!
Lots of prayers tonight. Eternal Father Strong to Save... let’s win it for the old sailor Mac the Knife.
I think Mac will win all of the Bush states except for NM. I think he’ll win PA. That’s what I think, um hmm
M 278
O 260
I’ll go 49.0-49.9% O
~48% M
Just my view
McCain 273
Obama 265
McCain upset in PA (less than 1%) wins OH (1%) FL (1%), MO (2%), NV (2%), IN (2%)... Obama wins VA by 1%, wins CO by 3% ...
Obama wins popular vote by around 1,000,000 with huge disparities in CA, NY, IL, MA, CT ...
Long election night ...
Challenges pending in PA, OH and FL ...
Republican counter challenge in VA possible ...
It’s going to be ugly folks ...
Repeat of 2000, but which way will the disputed states turn? That’s the question ...
Dems fall short of 60 senate seats with 58 ... Mitch McConnell wins in Kentucky ...
This is what I see in the crystal ball ...
I picked the Giants to beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl in that upset, maybe I will be right this time, too.
M 49% O 48%

Damn your scenerio sounds like a nightmare...lol.
I know I’m a wet blanket:
O: 50.9
M: 48.1
O: 291
M: 247
McCain/Palin 47.8% 272 Ev votes
And then all hell breaks loose.
I was actually thing more along the lines of...”turd”.

I like yours the best! I want to say McCain 54% but I think I’m overly optimistic.
O - 338, 51.5% popular vote
McCain concedes at 8PM EST.
Popular vote:
McCain - 49.2%
Obama - 49.1%
Electoral college:
McCain - 269
Obama - 269
Goes to House of Reps in January and they pick Obama.
Obama indicted by Fitzgerald after HoR vote; Obama signs letter to make Biden President until he is acquitted; Pelosi whacks Biden and takes the Oval. Obama convicted. Riots in the streets. Election stolen!
It would make a good book, eh?
Concede at 8 pm EST? Before the west has finished voting?
Obama 49.1%
McCain 48.5%
Obama 253
McCain 285
Won’t know until Wednesday mid-day at least.

For popular vote, I'm going with McCain 51%, Zero 48.6%, Third Party/Write-in 0.4%.
PV: McCain 51.5, Obama 48.2
EC: McCain 321 (all Bush states, PLUS NH, PENNS, & MINN), Obama: 217
MAC 49.1%
O 49.6%
Sen Dems 57
House Dems +20
If he loses FL or VA, and then loses PA, it will be over.

BTW, FR is creeping tonight.
M - 50.3%, 299 EV
O - 48.8%, 239 EV
NM and IA flip to 0bama, PA and NH flip to Mac.
Most likely to be wrong about Mac keeping CO and 0bama keeping WI.
NC - M +4
VA - M +1
OH - M +2
PA - M +1
IN - M +8
FL - M +3
MO - M +4
CO - M +1

NH - M +2
IA - O +3
MN - O +4
WI - O +1
NM - O +5
ME(2) - O +3
ME(whole) - O +5
CA - O +10
If he loses Florida it's over, but thanks to Joe Biden and Jack Murtha, Pa. looks more likely to me than Va.
Your numbers are certainly plausible, but I really don't see McCain conceding the race that early even in that scenario.
:-)
M-535
O-3
:-)
_________
That’s only with a McCain/Palin/Ditka ticket.
Ditka decided to spot Obama a Washington D.C. field goal before the election, that’s how they got 3.
O-279 M- 259 :(
I agree. Mccain knows better than to sabotage west coast Republican turnout by an early concession.
m 270
o 268
m 48.5
o 49.3
I don’t know, not a clue.
But if Obama loses there will be endless recounts, litigation that will make the last recount look like a church picnic.
If McCain loses by one EV, he will concede and not demand a recount or sue anyone.
People forget the heroics of GWB during the time of that election,,I will never forget James Baker and Olsen and his entire team.
PV does not matter.
McCain gets 308 ev.
O-291/M-243
Hopefully I am wrong...but if not...may we clean house and never nominate another "centrist/moderate" again.
McCain 48.9%
Obama 49.6%
McCain 271 EVs
Obama 267 EVs
BOOK IT!
McCain - 227
Screw the popular vote.
Wednesday buying Anheuser-Busch, Molson Coors, Brown-Forman, Diageo, Sturm, Ruger & Co. Inc, Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. and other potential alcohol and firearms manufacturers.
Buy the stock of whomever makes Mossberg shotguns, and Remington, if the little Marxist squirrel wins on Tuesday. If he is not the winner on Tuesday it will be January before the ultimate winner is declared. Ain’t that encouraging, to have Pelosi and company declaring the winner ... I’m sure the several cities will no longer be smoldering from riot fires by then and she will argue the election must be given to Obama to avoid renewed rioting.
EV O-341 M-197
PV Obama by 4 million
Hate it but this is my best guess.
Hussein 51, McCain 46
EC - Hussein 310, McCain 228
Popular Vote: 65% for McCain, 30% for Obama, 5% Others.
Electoral College Vote: 535 for McCain, 3 for Obama.
Why? Because once inside the voting booth, many voters will stop and recall that this Nation was built by Entrepreneurs who started Cottage Industries which developed into full-blown Manufacturing Plants. It wasn’t built on greed and corruption. It wasn’t built on “the dole.” Why, I recall a time in US History when a man would rather work the most menial job than to take money and not work for it.
For once, unfortunately, you are probably correct.
That’s the one time I wish I was wrong
