Just broke on Hannity & Colmes. Obama is heading to Hawaii to spend time with "sick" Grandma. I call Bull$hit. Nobody leaves the campaign trail for a couple of days to visit someone who is "sick". He is heading down there to "straighten" out this birth certificate issue. How blatent can he get? When Obama was in Hawaii a few months ago playing in the surf, didn't we hear that he has not seen his Grandma for years, and now he is visiting her while she is "sick"?!?! I think he went down there to tell his Grandma to shut up and to not give any interviews, and now I think he is heading down there to get his birth certificate with the wet ink planted in the system.

The more I think about this, the more it doesn’t make sense. Why would he drop everything, after she’s out of the hospital? If she was on death’s door, wouldn’t the entire family go?
I seriously hope they she’s okay, but this smells fishy, especially with the birth certificate thing breaking.

This is the same grandmother he didn’t have time for when he was in Hawaii this summer. I had expected he and the family would spend at least a day with her while they were there. No way. What an ungrateful grandson.

Obama is taking two days off from the campaign in the last 15 days to visit his sick grandmother in Hawaii. A grandmother whom he rarely visits.
There are law suits filed now in four states claiming that Obama does not meet the constitutional test for office (natural born citizen) because he was actually born in Kenya, as his Kenyan grandmother has proclaimed, when she said she attended his birth.
His mother was not old enough and did not live in the US long enough before his birth for him to have been a citizen, if he was born outside the US.
Obama’s visit coincides with that of an investigative reporter who is in Hawaii to ask the Hawaii supreme court for an emergency order opening the state’s birth records for Obama.
Obama has refused to ask Hawaii to open the records, and is fighting the law suits which have been filed, in hopes of delaying the facts until after the election. The birth certificate posted on their web site two months ago, was shown to be a false copy of the actual record, by the omission of the pro-Obama dailykos.com folks who posted it.
Now I know most of your list will proclaim this to be a right-wing wacko theory, but it would be interesting to see what they say about the timing of the visit.
Secondly, someone might comment on why an innocent person would act this way.
Lastly, don’t we have the right to know if the candidates meet the basic requirements as spelled out in the constitution?
One possibility is that the old woman is near death. If the hospital cannot do much for you, many choose to go home to die (example, Paul Newman).
I despise Obama, but it is entirely possible his grandmother (who was much more a mother to him than his mother was) has gone home to die.
Argument against? He isn’t leaving for a couple of days...if someone is about to die, you don’t wait for 3 days.

In fact, this overt concern about granny may be a devilish effort to plant subliminal doubts about the fitness of the similarly elderly John McCain to hold the office of president. There has already been a noticeable uptick in references to McCain’s age by left-wing hacks. If those subtle suggestions continue, then I’m more sure of my theory. Am I crazy?
This is laying the groundwork for getting the F**K out of Dodge while the tape breaks tomm from API and the FEC responds to the Deadline for the Berg v. Obama case.

I say he’s going for treatment of a medical condition he doesn’t want anyone to know about. You know, the one he’s been hiding by not releasing his medical records. What better cover than to visit his grandma in the “hospital”. And why just two days? Does he somehow know his grandma will be okay in 48 hours. Or does he need that long for the procedure and recuperation?
Also, if he hasn't talked to her by now, it's worthless.

Truth likely is that Obama needs to make arrangements that Grandma's secrets dies with her.That all of his hirtory yet unrevealed is wrapped up and put away or destroyed, that all of grandmas papers, memoirs and family memorabilia are confiscated and put in his custody as a guardian.

or, it could be a calculated effort to deflect criticism from him with regard to some major disclosure that is about to break. I have no knowledge about any such disclosure whatsoever, but having to break off campaigning to attend to a sick (grand)mother might tend to subdue any harsh criticism that a damaging disclosure might invite. Hey, it might even cause the ones in the know to hold off releasing the info, thus buying time for Obama’s thugs to circumvent the announcement of the (hypothesized)information.
Whatever the reason, I hope McCain and Palin express appropriate sympathy and continue campaigning as before. At a minimum, the ad campaign should continue undiminished in its intensity.

Earlier “The Star-Bulletin” had a picture of Jr and Maila going in the elevator for the one visit the entire family paid to Madelyn Dunham on the Tuesday of the Hawaii visit. At that time the local papers reported the family visited from 6:50 to 7:15 pm. Jr carried in a gift basket of fruit and Maila carried in books on tape. Earlier this summer Madelyn Dunham had a corneal transplant and she also has severe osteoporosis.
