DID BILL AYERS GHOST-WRITE "DREAM FROM MY FATHER?"
Travis McGee | Oct. 6, 2008 | Travis McGee

Posted on 10/07/2008 6:29:44 AM PDT by Travis McGee

The new rumor is that English prof Ayers ghost-wrote Obama’s books. There is some early forensic/style evidence pointing strongly in this direction. If this can be nailed down by comparing other Ayers work to Obama’s (?) books, Obama is finished.

But the forensic work has to be done super fast to have any effect on the election.

Obama was noted for NOT writing, neither as editor of the Harvard law review, nor as a lecturer on con-law. The man just didn't write, in positions where most folks write like crazy.

Then he pops out with two fantastically well written books that become best sellers? And this has nothing to do with his freindship with political mentor and English prof Bill Ayers?

The forensic work has to be done super fast to have any effect on the election.

I already saw a thread where nearly exact phrases were used in an unpublished but available online Ayers work, and Dreams From My Father. Seems that Ayers had been a merchant seaman for a short while, and the nearly exact same sea and sky descriptions are in both his and "Obama's" works, even though "Obama's" books don't deal with seafaring.

Smoke, meet fire. These sea and sky descriptions jumped out on a first read, but actual forensic analysis could NAIL THIS DOWN. Like a fingerprint or DNA match.

If Ayers is Obama's ghost-writer, we need to prove this in a very short time.

I'm trying to stir up this rapid research here on Free Republic. Remember Dan Rather and Memogate, and the forensic analysis that was done in a matter of hours?

WE need an effort like that now.

From iThenticate, hat tip StanDeliver:

"[iThenticate CEO Jon] Barrie: "Well, this is what happened. The Post came to us originally and they were doing a story about how Oprah Winfrey was using our technology to screen things for her show. And the Post wanted to see an example of how our technology worked. So they took a 2005 speech from Hillary Clinton and ran it through our service. And right off the bat, we caught the speechwriter for Hillary Clinton plagiarizing. And the journalist from the Post said what else can we run through your service?...."

I do believe it was written by someone else, probably Ayers. But anyone who testifies to it would be listed as “smearing” Obama.

I am getting cynical this election. The sway Obama has over people makes me sick.

Folks, this could swing the election.

It should be possible to prove that Ayers was Obama’s ghost-writer.

It is provable, one way or the other. Comparative forensic analysis of writing is used in court all the time.

It's as dead-bang provable as Dan Rather's fake memo, that was written on a modern computer and not a 1960s typewriter.

The sway Obama has over people makes me sick.

Almost like a certain 20th century German Chancellor.

How did he get a book deal in the first place?
I read he received an advance before the book was even written. It sounds strang considering he never wrote anything prior.

the kool aid drinkers STILL believe Dan Rather’s version of the story about Bush AWOL was correct even if his documents weren’t

Good luck with that forensics thing- they still havent figured out who really wrote the Jon Benet Ramsey ransom note

We are in real trouble. The content of a book where he admits to being a naval gazing race-centered druggie is not a problem for his campaign. But if someone else helped him wordsmith it, that’s a problem? I don’t think so.

This is so doable.

And you don’t need any writings of Obama to do it.

All you need is Ayers.

When I studied Medieval literature, a lot of scholarship was devoted authorship. A lot of literature did not have an identified author, so the question you would ask: Is the person who wrote Sir Gawain and the Green Knight the same person who wrote another poetic work. You did it by comparing the two, and concluding yes, they are written by the same person or no, they are not.

But you do NOT need anything that Obama has written.

It’s a problem is the ghostwriter is Ayers.

He could not longer deny an alliance.

An important element would be time-frame. For both books, the dates they went to the publisher would be significant. What were each of the men engaged in 9-12 months prior to the date the manuscripts were submitted. Did it coincide with low demands on Ayers time? Who did the editors work with?

If Bill Terrorist Ayers (I barely knew him!) ghost-wrote it then yes, it's huge.

It ties them together in a long-term secret collaboration, and proves he's a damned liar of the highest order.

“But if someone else helped him wordsmith it, that’s a problem? I don’t think so.”

Oh yes it is buddy. You are wrong.

We’re talking about Bill Ayers.

Easy.

1. Follow the money since the Ghost Writer was paid.

2. Ask point blank if Ayers had any involvement in the book.

it would be easy to compare bill ayer’s syntax in his books with obama’s.
