Sure, after all homosexuality is simply a chemical inbalance in the brain and is as much a mental ailment as bipolarism and the like. So I can see how it could possible be present since birth.

Unfortunately, it is socially acceptable disorder so no effort is ever made to treat it.

I agree with you. I went to elementary school with a kid who by the third grade, we all knew he was "different." He walked with a prance in his step, lisped when he talked and only played dolls with the girls. When he showed up at the 10 year high school reunion with his "partner" nobody was shocked.

And then there are the butch lesbians with husky, baritone voices and 5 o'clock shadows...

I have no doubt that some people are born gay. And there is no doubt that some switch teams later in life for a variety of reasons.

Its none of my business, nor do I care one bit what any consenting adults do in private. Have at it and enjoy yourself.

But private is where it belongs.

I know exactly what you mean. My sister knew a guy in High School who was teased for “being gay” before he ever knew he was gay. They knew it before he did.

Also look at the kid from “Who's the Boss”; that kid was a flamer before he even reached puberty (poor kid). You would think that growing up around a growing out Alissa Milano would ‘cure’ anyone!
