WEST HOLLYWOOD Actor Shia LaBeouf reportedly was driving drunk when he crashed his pickup truck into another vehicle, and rolled the truck twice, at a 2:24 a.m. crash in West Hollywood, authorities said Sunday.
LaBeouf, 22, was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where was surgery for his left hand at 9 a.m., said Sgt K. Aloma of the sheriff's West Hollywood station. At least two other people were injured as well, including the woman who was riding with him in the actor's Ford F-150 pickup truck.
LaBoeuf had a supporting role in this summer's "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."
The traffic accident at La Brea and Fountain avenues occurred about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Aloma said.
Los Angeles city fire spokesperson Ron Myers said two ambulances transported at least three people to area hospitals, after being dispatched to the scene of the accident at 2:24 a.m.
Aloma said at some point during the traffic accident, the truck rolled over a few times.
Aloma said she had no description of the other vehicle, but did say the female motorist -- the lone occupant inside that vehicle -- was treated and released at an area hospital.
LaBeouf's passenger was also treated and released from an area hospital.
Aloma said the charges were filed "because of the alcohol on his breath and person, and there were signs of intoxication."
The crash occurred in an intersection that is half each in the cities of West Hollywood and Los Angeles, and is being investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which provides police services in West Hollywood.
He was arrested in Chicago for refusing to leave a Walgreens.
This young lad might have drug, alcohol or mental issues.
I’d expect him to be driving something a little nicer than a Ford pick-up truck.

I live 4 blocks away from this intersection...it’s a tight intersection, but any driver with an iota of a brain cell can drive through there properly, except for this overrated actor.

Actually, the gays are pissed off at Shia LaBeouf because he, Shia, used the word “faggot” in an interview a few months ago. Ironic that Shia should crash his vehicle in West Hollywood of all places.
