Click here to visit a great web site about John Philip Sousa - American Composer, Conductor & Patriot
Biography - MIDI and MP3 Music Files
How did your “click here” get linked to
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1860821/posts
which is actually the URL to the thread you posted?
Do you realize how freaky that is?
Unless, prior to posting, you purposely choose to link to 1860821 in the Chat area, thinking that number would be yours, since it was next in line, so to speak.
How did you do that?!
I sometime download some of the MIDI and horse around with it.

It's an annual post, usually just copied from the previous year - but I lost the link this time.
Not a prob’. :’) Happy Independence Day. Somewhere I’ve got the link to a site filled with MIDI files of JPS’ works, pretty cool. My favorite (like a lot of people in my demographic) is “Liberty Bell”. ;’)
On a musical note, Souza tried all kinds of keys to write his music in but found that only one key sounded right; B flat. Impress your family and friends today, “Uh,sounds like the key of B flat.”
