Britney Spears' hair is now being auctioned off to the highest bidder. Access Hollywood spoke with the owner of Esther's Haircutting Studio in Tarzana, Esther Tognozzi, who said she is planning to sell the singer's hair on eBay.
"They will donate a portion of the hair collected from the crop to the Britney Spears Foundation."
Seriously, couldn't Britney have just donated it to Locks of Love? C'mon now!
Esther told Us that after Brit shaved her hair, "She just looked in the mirror and said with tears in her eyes, 'Oh, my God, I shaved it all off. My mom is going to be so upset with me.'" Tognozzi says that prior to shaving Britney complained that her extensions were "very tight and uncomfortable."
A quick google search for salons in Tarzana, CA yielded 127 results, and while Citysearch.com had the salon listed, no one had reviewed it as of Saturday night. Esther told People.com, she didn't charge Brit the usual $20 for her buzz cut, but said, "Now I'm charging $200 for the Brit-Buzz Special!"
(and extensions) PLUS Her Redbull and Bic Lighter You have heard the story on the news... No need to repeat it here.
This is the auction you have been waiting for. I am selling the hair as well as the 3/4 full can of Redbull she was drinking and her blue Bic Lighter. I am selling this on behalf of Esther and her family.
We are offering it for sale here at what we feel is a realistic price. This is a piece of history that can not be duplicated.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC. THIS IS NOT A SCAM. BUYER IS ENCOURAGED TO DO A LOCAL PICK UP IN TARZANA, CALIFORNIA AND MEET WITH ME AND ESTHER. ONCE AGAIN, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC AND THIS IS THE ONLY REAL LISTING. I THINK THE PICTURES SAY IT ALL.
Payment is to be made by cash, money order or cashiers check ONLY. NO PAYPAL.
Due to the unique nature and high value of these items, buyer is to be responsible for any shipping arrangements. Local pick up is highly encouraged. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330089956532&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:US:11
Which one?
I wouldn't touch it - I don't know where it's been.
I shaved my head once....lost a bet.
I don't gamble anymore.
If it smells like fish, don't buy it.
Stop it. She's just a young girl with no direction and too much money. Someone who loves her should take her away, with her children, and get her some help. She needs to be out of the public eye until she gets her life together or else she'll be the next Anna Nicole. Why does everyone think this is funny? She is someone's daughter, friend and most of all MOTHER.
Put me down for a few million.
The hair should have been donated to "Locks of Love". My daughter is a stylist who donates her clients hair to that organization. Britt and this stylist could use a dose of reality, such as a visit with a chemo patient or two.
It wasn't real hair... fake extensions.
I have been thinking the same thing....She needs to get away from the Hollywood crowd, surround herself with people that love her for her not her fame not her fortune.
She needs to save herself so she can be a good mom to these kids. I pray someone steps up to the plate for her.
She's gonna end up like Anna Nicole.

Her family needs to get her some help. It's very sad to see another train wreck unfold.
It's very hard to save someone from themselves.
My sister has alopaecia, she's been bald since high school. I recovered from a bout with that condition when I was in sixth grade; I recovered. Kids losing hair is a terrible thing. that being said....
Locks of Love is a wonderful organization; it should have been Brit's first thought.
It's even harder if you don't try. If you saw your daughter doing what Britney is doing, wouldn't you at least make an attempt?
"I recovered from a bout with that condition when I was in sixth grade; I recovered."
Wow you were one of the lucky ones! My neighbors son as had alopaecia since high school. He is now in his 40s'.
I would hope that my daughter wouldn't be a self absorbed fame seeker to begin with. The major influence of parenting takes place in the early years. After the age of 18 is going to be too late in most cases.
