Aren't extensions real hair? My daughter has them and they sure look real to me. When you don't have any hair, due to a medical condition, they would be welcomed as well. In the form of a wig of course. :)

No, extensions are synthetic. Locks of Love does not accept synthetic hair.
From their website:
We accept 10" minimum hair length (tip to tip). We cannot accept wigs, falls, or synthetic hair.
