Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

This is very curious. If Birkhead is the father, he's got more rights to the baby than Virgie has. Altho, who knows, it may be easier in the Bahamas for her to get custody of the baby. Pit her against Stern who endangered the baby's life already by pumping her pregnant mother with drugs and she looks much more fit to parent the child. Once Virgie gets the baby, she could turn her over to Birkhead. This would be more expedient than Birkhead getting the DNA and then fighting for the custody. Am i getting this wrong? Feel free to correct me...anyone...

Howard SAID that important things were gone. Don't we all leave important legal documents in the closet. I think what the "supposed burglars" said was true: "Anna said that if anything happened to her....." She had a premonition. Yes, I believe in that. Perhaps she and Howard had a very big disagreement and she finally caught on. That might explain her staying in the room in Florida and the sunglasses.

affidavit with them since they were not married. Then the birth certificate is issued.

I think you're correct. They don't need the appearance of "ganging up". Larry is less likely than Virgie to get custody. Guardianship is down the road.

After seeing some screaming cursing fighting videos of ANS family - I have changed my soft side toward Vergie. Also hearing that she took camera crew along to visit Daniel's grave this past w/e? Hub said from the beginning that the family was trash and I kept championing Vergie and her right to bury her daughter but I don't think I want her or her family having any imput in the baby's life. Course what do I have to say about it? LOL

That can be explained by the marriage on the boat fiasco. That was living testimony of one about to be deceased. It shows her intentions as to the father and as to the commitment of two people living together. It goes right to the heart of the rule book.

Some people, like me for instance, have a safe in which i keep important docs. Some people use safe deposit boxes. Someone who is in the middle of a multi million dollar suit should have kept impt docs under more security than simply a closet. Perhaps there are other docs stashed away somewhere in a safe place....

It makes me wonder if the Birth certificate did not have Sterns name on it (that it was issued without his name) and that someone tried to add it after the Birth Certificate was issued.

Clearly the Birth Registration says she is widowed and then that affidavit was missing. These forms are probably passed on to someone who actually prints up the birth certificate with a seal on it and then it gets mailed out. So that person would have caught the error or assumed the fathers name was not suppose to be on the Birth Cert because the affidavit was not included with the birth registration.

If this is true it could have been corrected (it is noted in the Statutes) but she is dead now and it cannot be corrected now.
