Bach: 'Delayed Guns N' Roses Album is Mind Blowing'

The long delayed Guns N' Roses album 'Chinese Democracy' is absolutely "mind-blowing,” according to former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach.

The album, which has been in the making since 1997, was played at a September party hosted by frontman Axl Rose - the only remaining original member - at his mansion in California.

Bach, who is opening for the legendary group on their current tour of North America, says, "It was mind-blowing. It's a very cool album - it's bada*s with killer screams, killer guitar riffs, but it's got a totally modern sound.

"The word for it is 'grand'. It's f**king epic. (Axl)'s reinvented himself yet again.

"There's this one song called 'Sorry,' that's almost like doom metal with Axl singing really clean over this grinding, slow beat that is f**king mean. I cannot get it out of my head."

'Chinese Democracy' is rumored to hit stores on November 21, although the band's manager Merck Mercuriadis has declined to confirm this.

He says, "I don't know that we will announce a release date. You might just walk into your record shop one Tuesday and find it there."

Did Axel finally learn to sing?

Is this the same Axl Rose who was beat up by the fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger at a New York nightclub?

A few points:
1) It ain't Guns 'N Roses anymore.
2) Bach's gig as the opener is at stake, what else would he say?
3) It ain't Guns 'N Roses anymore.

Yeah 9 years, Axl kept getting pissed and walking out the studio like he did in 80% of his live shows back in the 90's.

Bach's mind could get blown by a mild fart.

He did that when I saw him when they were opening for Aerosmith in 88 or 89. Man I was ticked.

Read some time ago that Axl is kinda "out there" with in part led to GNR's demise. Apparently, Rose has been way over the top obsessive/compulsive with this recording. An article I read a while back said that he has literally been working on this album since 1997 and has been going over it again and again to get exactly what he wants, so it will be very interesting to see how this turned out. Is Rose a genius, or is he a burnt-out rock psycho?

Axl is Axl. The album will in fact be epic. G&R had some fantastic songs and Axl can write with the best of them.

Then on day one of the tour, Axl will walk off stage or not even make it to the stage.

Axl created G&R and destroyed G&R.

Somehow, I don't think I'll take this guys opinion of it seriously. It's like reading a DU comment, and I don't take those seriously either.
