Google is observing Independence Day on their main search page! I'm stunned!
Well, they are not the crocodiles, after all. Good for them.
It was still quite surprising. They have a flag and everything! They normally avoid observing any holiday that has anything to do with patriotism or Christianity.
Doesn't it look like the two animals celebrating are the elephant (for the GOP) and what looks like a cat, not a donkey (for the dems.)

They do every year. There was a thread a couple of days ago where someone posted Google's July 4th graphics for the past five years or so.

I checked it using a proxy server in Korea, and the dancing cats are not there, just the regular logo.
