This ought to be a very interesting thread. Note to any Mods watching:

a. This vanity raises a serious question for discussion, and

b. FR is not the Catholic Church and Ann isn't the Virgin Mary - so I hope that free discussion of this topic will be permitted....

Huh? What planet are you from? This is just one more aspect of a topic that has been discussed to death since the new book hit. Where did you get the idea that the mods would kill it?

She's unapologetic. In this case unapologetically conservative. I'm not aware of that being a mental disorder.

She is also unapologetically feminine in her dress.

Perhaps you feel threatened by strong women ;-)

And as to your repeated question -- would I like my daughter to behave like that?

[1] I have 4 daughters, and I'd like them to behave like themselves. One is pretty close {the one with the degrees in history}, two, not at all {the two that work in medicine}, and one somewhere in the middle {the home-schooling mom.}

[2] Now so what?

I don't think it's appropriate to discuss Ann's Psychological profile unless we are a professional dealing with that.

I guess we can give an opinion of our personal opinion of her abrasive personality. She seems to either be a angry person needing anger management or it's all an act and that "act" is netting her milllions.

I suspect that few Freepers would want their daughters to behave as Ms. Coulter does - both in terms of her outrageous rudeness and her never-married lifestyle.

Ann Coulter is much smarter than average -- which can be a problem in meeting a mate and she grew up in a time and a place when cultural mores further limited the pool of potential match-ups.

Would you perfer your daughter to go the route of Madonna, her contemporary?

Laura Ingraham, who is Ann's age, is also not married, btw, and is probably glad for it considering the gutless loser she almost ended up with.

Her's a personality quiz for you, Al.

Why do so many Darwinists feel the need the adopt screen names (DoctorMichael, Right Wing Professor etc) or to fill their FReeper pages with public paens to their supposed advanced mental capacities? Are they insecure? Do they fear below the level of their weighty and astonishingly voluminous cerebra that their true religion may not be so true after all?

Ann has you all pegged. She threw a rock and you all yelped.

Making psychological pronouncements without seeing a patient in person -- often -- is the hallmark of a rank amateur in the field. I suspect you'll get no professional takers.

Some women who are highly educated, opinionated and have a public forum many times will grow some BALLS. Women with BALLS intimidate men, therefore they get to "play with men" as sport. After a little "sport" these women with BALLS will eventually will find many men boring and ball-less.

Funny to me...when a woman has all the associated benefits of a "man's lifestyle", having an education, have opinions against the norm, have a public forum (acceptance) and get to "play the field" collecting freely sown seed...MEN and insecure women find this threatening, troubling and "unacceptable"...I find it rather interesting that someone HERE doesn't recognize a double standard.

Speaking of yelping dogs.

If Thomas Huxley was Darwin's bulldog, tpaine is Darwin's attack chihuahua.

Go ahead and bring over all the Darwinists for a yelpfest, tpaine. Keep proving Ann Coulter's thesis in real time.

You're right Al. This isn't about Coulter's politics. This is about the Darwinist religion.

It's good we have somebody to retaliate against the liberals. That said, I don't really like her or most pundits. Some stuff is better left unsaid (Pat Robertson?) and I don't really like us degrading ourselves to name-calling, etc. So sophmorish. Or actually, Freshmanish :)

I'm guessing that Coulter, like many pundits, probably acts arrogant, narcissistically (SP?), etc. to sell books. People like that stuff. Still, I wouldn't want her as a daughter.

FROM YOUR PROFILE:"- Graduate of top 15 US Law School (and smart enough to have found something more fulfilling to do with my life than practicing law. I absolutely DESPISE most lawyers.)

Now I understand YOUR disdain for Ann Coulter. She could probably out-lawyer you and she HAS found something more fulfilling to do.

What are you doing now?

Your Statement From The Thread: "I suspect that few Freepers would want their daughters to behave as Ms. Coulter does - both in terms of her outrageous rudeness and her never-married lifestyle."

I sure wouldn't want my daughter to marry if all the men out there were like you. I see women tend not to stay with you.

ANOTHER QUOTE FROM YOUR PROFILE- Currently quite jaded about "the psychotic sex" - yeah - I KNOW there are nice women out there, but in my life I seem to have had a knack for finding 'violent femmes' - so I have blissfully taken myself out of that market for the time being - family, friends are enough fullfilment for now

You are so , oh so, I don't know. Rules keep from expressing how much I disagree with you. Ann tells it like it is, more than anyone else out there in my opinion, and there is nothing wrong with her because of it. The only thing she is doing is saying what other people should be saying. She is fed up with liberals and how they have destroyed this nation and she is exposing them.

Hi Al, I can't disagree with you more.

First you are trying to make up some psychological profile based on her public life as an entertainer which can't be more than thin at best.

She is Will Rogers, Harriet Beecher Stove, Rush Limbaugh, PT Barnum, Martha Washington, the Beatles.
She can mesmerize you with what she says and can make you take notice and think.

We can only assume from her productivity, quality of work and the nice person she has been with visits with Freepers that this is one well adjusted super star of politics.

I had no problem for instance with her abrasive treatment of the Jersey girls, because from my view the Jersey girls have been enabling the enemy. They have been making al Jazzera sound bites and trying to get the most anti-American Democrats elected.
The Jersey girls IMO did quite a bit to make our soldiers die more often, to inspire the enemy to action and to break the American will.
So when ANN FLAMES ON these horrible people, I think she has had good cause and I have no problem with how she handles herself at all.

She appears to be a well adjusted woman who probably any human being would be grateful to have as a friend.
I think she is one of the more sound minded stable people you will ever find in the entertainment industry.

SHE'S GOOD PEOPLE it appears.
I don't agree with your view at all Al.

I'm sure that Ann's comfortable in her skin and in her mind. She's way ahead of most young ladies her age in her confidence. She's blessed with a quick and logical mind, and she appropriately recognizes this.

WHOOPIE for appropriate confidence!
