A woman from Ohio is hospitalized with serious injuries after a bear attacked her near her home in Ashtabula County yesterday.
According to a state wildlife officer, the 500-pound bear escaped from the Grand River Fur Exchange, a commercial gaming business in Hartsgrove Township.
The animal apparently got out after its owner went inside to clean its cage.
The bear then made its way to a neighboring home where it attacked Rachel Supplee, 36.

A 15-year-old girl saw the animal and fled into the house, but the bear pushed the door open behind her and followed her inside, Reda said.

The media is playing games again.
The bear was near her home and the bear was inside the home, so the media is "fake, but accurate."
A 500-pound bear escaped from an animal breeder Monday, entered a neighboring home and attacked a woman, a state wildlife officer said.
The victim was expected to survive, and the bear was lured out of the house and shot to death by the breeder, said Reno Reda of the state Department of Natural Resources wildlife division.

I have been at the Grand River Fur Exchange before. It once was a fur farm but it is now a urine farm. Smelled like it too! The owners are nice people and I feel bad that this happened - I'm sure the Cleveland media are going to twist this story around and around to suit their needs. I heard that the injured woman is doing quite well condsidering.
