Samsung has admitted to stealing Apple's intellectual property. The company on Sunday said that it has updated and revised the icons used in its latest handset model "Skin," which used work from both Apple and Microsoft, according to The Korea Times: "The electronics giant admitted plagiarizing designs of the handsets graphic user interface. Many graphic designers and other Internet users on various Web communities [...] over the last two weeks have accused the firm of stealing the designs. The new handset, which began selling here in late April, has an identical graphic icon with Apples iMac PC which is composed of a ruled notepad and a pen lying on it. Samsung also copied other icons from Microsoft, such as a pile of three yellow sticky notes, and blue and green, round-shaped men that represent MSN Messenger."

I doubt it. At most, Steve Jobs is going to call up the Samsung CEO and congratulate Samsung on a great iCon.
(But with a warning not to do it again.)
There are a lot of free icon sets online that Samsung could've stolen from the Open Source community. And they could've gotten away without paying a thing except a credit somewhere to the author of the icons.
Flagrant rip off!
