I'm calling attention to this commercial site not to promote it, but just the opposite. Freepers as a whole are so witty and so, err, umm, "fond" of the latest NewAgey trendy fads, that I thought I would "get my LOLlies" by soliciting comments from you all. Have at it!
I've been told this $70 doll has a deep slow voice that says, "Everything is going to be all right". LOL!!
Here is the full "My Therapy Buddy" Photo Album page. The doll was unveiled this week on "American Inventor".
Two friends at work are thinking of starting a website for the sole purpose of satirizing this. Here are a few of my ideas for possible websites:
1) MyTherapyBunny.com - city sidewalk full of people clutching 8 foot tall Harvey The Rabbit replicas.
2) MyTherapyBubba.com - room full of Democrats sucking their thumbs while tightly clutching large fuzzy Bill Clinton dolls, outpouring their nostalgia for "the only President to ever make us feel warm and fuzzy". Comes with framed certificate from the APA verifying its effectiveness in treating symptoms of BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome).
And of course, instead of saying, "Everything is going to be all right" - the MyTherapyBubba doll will croak out, "I Feel Your Pain" over and over and over and over again. I won't give details about the anatomically correct version of this doll with removable boxer shorts that's targeted at (no pun intended) female liberals, because we need to keep this a family friendly website. ("I feel your pain, sweetie. Come a bit closer and feel mine")
I happened to be watching the "American Inventor" when the guy who invented this came on... the 4 judges couldn't throw him out fast enough!
They don't mention that the judges were crying from trying not laugh at the goofy idiot who "invented" it.
I'm still not entirely convinced the whole thing isn't one big goof.
Each 2008 Democrat party delegate and candidate will be recieving a complementary one courtesy of the DNC.
I knew a guy once
he used a blow up doll for "therapy"
Slightly less gay, and it won't cost you $70 bucks.
"..No...It's a wand..."
Oh, the vile, perverted things those poor dolls will have to endure...
Curious that all these sniveling whimps would need a doll that is little more than a thinnly veneered excuse for the role a male and father should have played in their lives.
MyTherapyBubba----- These should have been available in Florida after the 2000 election. It would have been cheaper than what the idiots paid for real therapy sessions as were widely reported.
Therapy?
You won't be laughing when bulletball is an Olympic event.
