Q: How did you go from the tough guy with the gold chains on "Hot Buttered Soul" to playing a fat, bearded cartoon cook who has threesomes with white women?

A: Well, I had been on my agent's back a long time: "Man, get me some voice-overs! Get me some voice-overs!" So one day he called me and said, "Mr. Hayes, I think I've got some voice-over work for you." I said, "Yeah, some Disney!" He goes, "No, no, not quite. This is different." He wouldn't tell me about it. He just said Matt Stone and Trey Parker, who created "South Park," wanted to meet with me.

Chef shares the closet with the other clam heads. Still he had a lot of great deadpan lines.

I had heard Chef had Sci ties. I wished it to be untrue, 'cause how else could he have hooked up with a succubus?

I think there's an interview with him in one of the DVD sets where he goes over this and it's pretty funny.

He's a good guy, I remember listening to his morning radio show, it wasn't a shock jock screaming "look at how goofy I am" it was a couple of cool people, shooting the sh*t and playing music they like.

He's credited prominently in every current show, so he hasn't broken the tie. Perhaps he is ill?

I have that too. I think it's included with the Second Season DVD set. :)
