Katie Holmes says she's converting to the Church of Scientology, embracing the religion of her boyfriend, Tom Cruise.
Holmes, in London to promote her new film, "Batman Begins," said Monday that she's excited about her lessons in Scientology, a religion founded by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard.
The 26-year-old actress and Cruise went public with their romantic relationship in April. The former Catholic and star of television's "Dawson's Creek" grew up with a poster of Cruise on her bedroom wall and has said she grew up wanting to marry him.
"We all keep dreaming, and luckily, dreams come true," Holmes said.

No kidding. When I was stationed in Las Vegas, there was one particular religion that would make the rounds on Saturday handing out literature. My roommate and I would look through the peephole, see some old woman or a male out there and would just ignore the knocks.
One Saturday, there's a soft knock at the door and looking through the peephole, there's a very attractive young woman. We both open the door, and she says "Good morning, would you like a copy of "Name of Magazine here?"
It's just not fair when they cheat like that.

Such an activity, when caried on for very long periods of time, can cause someone to lose grip on reality a bit.If he/she had one to begin with.

Some paparazzi somewhere has a bunch of pictures of Tom with a flaming hunk.
This fake romance with Ms. Holmes is damage control, nothing more.

If I had enough money I would create a "Church of Scientography" and watch who came in the doors. They could color in maps and pictures of Einstein and Edison, read spectroscopy pictures, and recopy scientific papers. It would be fun to see how long it would be before anyone caught on. Give me your child today, and I'll give you back a future Nobel Prize winner before you realize it's a scam.

Does "Crappie" refer to a type of fish or the results. If it has to do with results, I should join.
