I'm nearly blind in one eye and have very limited depth perception.... The result is these illusions of depth look more 3-D -- more real -- to me than reality does.

The swimming pool and the kneeling man gets best of show. It's a toss up. Extremely excellent 3-D work for "chalk"!!!
Wow, blown away.

Some of these guys do incredible copies of Old Masters in chalk too. It's ironic that there's better art for free on the sidewalk in front of certain museums than there is inside.

Somehow I suspect the direction the photo was taken makes a difference.

Naaah, I've been to NYC. That's a real fly.

More
here. I wouldn't go there while cubicle-bound. The sidewalk art pics are fine but they've got thumbnails of other, less work-friendly images.

They will really get famous if they do a 3-D version of "Piss Christ" in front of the Cathedral.

No it isn't. Art has it's politics and psychophant courtiers too. Business is business so it's not what you know but who you know ....or in most cases who you blow. The Andy Warhol scene blows (chunks).

Think you messed up that would be to draw the kneeling man in the middle of the street, right around a corner.
Before you take the corner in your car you look and see nobody on the street...next thing you know you are slamming on the brakes.
