Happy Easter!
Last week the subject theme for the photography thread was Sunrise, wherein someone suggested that sunrises are better than sunsets. That sounds like a challenge to me!
Let's see if we can top the sunrise thread with some beautiful sunset shots.
Please post your bestest sunset photos here - your own work, please.

Hey! The thread did post! I keep trying to post it and get the message temporarily unavailable
I had no idea it was here.
To: ValerieUSA
That's beautiful. I went for a walk earlier and there was a really pretty sunset here, but I didn't have my camera with me :(
I'll remember to take it next time.

I'm thinking about buying my sisters good camera. All I'm using is a cheap 3.3 megapixel Vivitar.

You shoud get decent pics from a 3.3 MP camera. But if you can get something better GO FOR IT!
To: ValerieUSA
Well, let me add my little bit...and a comment below the pic...
Now, this may not seem like much. However, this pic was taken after this...
And, right after this took to the sky...
These pics were from the GWB rally in Gainesville, Florida on October 31, 2004, just 3 days before the election. (Read After Action report here). And, while Alachua county "went" for John Kerry, GW improved his votes in Alachua county by (I believe) 30%.
And, I guess that's why pictures of the sky can mean so much. This sunset certainly did for me.
Thanks for the post.

I've never seen a cloud look more like a fish skeleton than that one does. Great shot.

Always good to see a photo of President Bush

Thank you ... here I was thinking it looked like a feather. It was in a few pictures that night.

Nice one of the bridge. I was at my in-laws all weekend, they live on Lake Eufaula in Alabama. If you take the bridge out of this picture, that is pretty much what every evening looks like off of their porch.

How can you walk without a camera? I would probably fall down.
Same spot, same evening. Different zooms.
