Back to Monday, here we go again. Work is still chaos so didn’t have much time to lurk/post on FR or come up with a good topic thread. Instead, we get more kitty pictures with no clear theme. I can use some ideas for thread themes. OK, on with the captions. All new pictures this week.

My kitty used to do a good job of getting up in the morning, lately he's been falling down on the job.
Yep, I'm here right now and it has been an exciting day. The Iraqis are overjoyed and so are we. Freedom tastes so sweet and they finally are going to see that.
We know that there are still some rough bumps ahead, but today, there is a feeling of accomplishment. Our troops were in a very jubliant mood in the chow hall this evening. Morale is up today.

I heard Geraldo say this AM on Fox News that the sound of choppers was insessant. Must have been a clue that something big was going on but nobody guessed it until it was announced. That said that the information had been held very tightly.
This President plays chess, not checkers. We were reminded of this today.
Now back to pictures of funny kitties.
Does anyone have any pics of ferrets and cats interacting? A friend of mine has 4 cats and a ferret in his household and the ferret is forever hiding the cats toys. I wish he'd take some pictures of that 'hiding effort' but he has yet to do so. Sigh.
I went to the State Trooper's barracks last Wednesday and filed a statement with them on what I observed. The trooper turns out to have previously worked in the same state corrections department that I spent over 23 years in. As well, being a cat owner himself, he took this incident very seriously and said based on all the information they had, the woman would be arrested (given an appearance ticket). Having been well-trained in my correctional career, in being able to read printed material & writing upside-down, I was able to discover her name and address. I would hope that any discipline applied would include having all the cats in her possession removed from her property, that she would be fined heavily for cruelty to animals, and be placed on probation. The trooper may or may not contact me to give me an update on the case. If I hear anything more, I will let all of you know.
