Just think, I'll be taking these road skills I've learned in PA back to Texas - I might replace some of those NASCAR stars....lol

Good Evening All-
Does anyone know the condition of the rider or if he/she survived this accident?
StrangeCosmos bills itself as "... Your Exclusive Portal to the Funniest Pictures, and Today's Most Current Humor and News..." on the Internet. Call me crazy, but as a motorcyclist I didn't get a really belly-laugh out of that picture.
As Martin_Fierro said, it is a grim reminder that we have to ride as if we're invisible out there.

BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!
Good advice and remember to assume you are invisible to all cars. Also, a good corollary to this is remembering that every intersection is a potential death trap. These and a few other bits of biking wisdom have kept me accident free in almost 50 years of riding things with two wheels and a motor (Childhood happiness was having a Maytag gasoline washing machine motor for your Schwinn instead of a playing card flapping against your spokes :-)

This sorta says it all. What was the moron in the white car thinking, oops there is that oxymoron again, thinking in the same sentence with what the picture shows, but was he trying to slip between the van and other vehicle? Did he not see the light because it was across the intersection? Was he/she distracted, and how would that be possible with a wall of traffic in front of you? So many questions, so much stupidity.

The guy in the car is driving right into the sunrise. Check out the shadows. Probably couldn't see a thing. Hope he didn't forget to pay his car insurance.

It's possible the driver was blinded by the sun suddenly. The long shadows indicate the sun was low on the horizon. The driver didn't fall asleep or pass out for some reason, as his/her arm is outside the car hanging on to the roof. Could be drugs, slow response time, who knows? I don't think he/she was trying to sneak through the intersection, as the skid marks start too far back. Whatever, it's just bad news.
