USAA Scorns Its Trump-Voting Members By Debanking The Lawyer Who Defended Him
The Federalist ^ | April 25, 2024 | Chuck Devore

Now John Eastman, one of the attorneys who worked with former President Donald Trump, has been debanked by both Bank of America and USAA.

That USAA debanked Eastman for his ties to the 2020 election contest comes as a surprise. USAA — now an insurance, financial services, and banking powerhouse headquartered in San Antonio, Texas — got its start in 1922 as a mutual self-insurance company for Army officers. Its clientele is mostly service members, veterans, and their families, with membership limited to those who can show a military tie. That means that, per a 2019 Pew Research poll, its customers are center-right, with 59 percent of veterans identifying as Republican versus only 39 percent of veterans who are Democrats. In other words, USAA’s customers voted overwhelmingly for Trump.

Corporate DEI/cancel culture wokeism has invaded USAA, a once mainstay militarily founded and service based organization. It's not surprising, I suppose, since the same rot is now part of the Defense agenda. The only way to stop the corporate brain rot is to boycott the organization. I find the whole wokeism (Defense and USAA) disgusting.

The Navy Federal Credit Union offers financial services to military members and veterans similar to USAA. A quick look at their website shows no DEI nonsense. Those patriots still in the armed services and veterans should consider switching their banking services provider.

I think one of the important “financial services” USAA offers is automobile insurance; anyone looking to make a move is going to look for this.

Maybe Ken Paxton can take a look into USAA's practices.

Unfortunately Navy federal doesn’t offer car or home insurance so USAA is the go to for those. I have both banks but my money is with navy federal and my insurance is with USAA.

In Florida, you really can’t be choosy. Insurance companies are leaving in droves. Your lucky to have an insurance company.

If the info at the above is accurate and USAA is owned by its members, did its members get to vote on this...?

Or are the members really just members in name only?

Time for patriots to put their money where their mouths are.

In this case: somewhere else.

USAA has a Federal charter on the banking side, so it does not fall under the supervision of the state of Texas. Insurance services do fall under state jurisdiction.

If I ever get debanked, I still get to keep the loot, right? They just hand over a cashier’s check?

Oddly, no one seems to have looked at incoming board members in the past 18 months...to put one and one together. It’s likely one single board member who dragged up this topic and pushed it.

To note...I also have USAA and Navy Federal.

No. We did not vote. USAA was taken over a few years ago by woke retired military generals abd has gone downhill ever since. Terrible service.

USAA may be a mutually owned institution but for practical purposes it functions as a large corporation not unlike Bank of America or Chase. Regardless of charter or type of organization, any entity is subject to leftist takeover without constant vigilance. Leftists never build; they subvert, take over, and destroy.

I stopped bothering even getting insurance quotes from usaa. They always quoted 20% higher than every other company.

And if they’re woke on top of it, fusaa.

Alabama would not accept my USAA auto insurance when registering my vehicles. The purple haired lady just shrugged when I asked why.

Terrible service...

Well, they’re Deep State.

They don’t have to serve their customers well, do they.
