Charlie Kirk upset a lot of women last week. In a discussion on unmarried women preferring Democrats, he said that ladies in their 30s are past their prime and struggle to find a husband.
This is obviously true, but impolite to say. Kirk’s statement naturally inspired outrage among liberals, as well as among conservatives. That shouldn’t surprise anyone. Kirk’s opinion runs counter to the prevailing conservative narrative about the decline of marriage. Conservatives say it’s all men’s fault and we need to do more to shame males into stepping up.
But this male-focused answer isn’t correct. It’s true that men are falling behind in society and leaving college-educated women with fewer options. But that’s not because men are refusing to put down the video games and go to trade school. Rather, it’s because of social transformations that deprioritize men and traditional masculinity. Our economy is now centered around the service and information sectors, both of which are female dominated. More women go to college and graduate school than men. Male wages are in decline and more men than women report zero dating prospects. Women, in contrast, are the big winners of our new society. Many of them now think they have infinite choice when it comes to their life and relationships. This better explains the marriage crisis than men’s love of video games.

Phillipine women are pretty, thrify, and VERY good with money. Everyone I know who married one, ended up with a very nice nest egg and a larged extended family. Does it get any better than that?
My two cents for your son. Seek a balance among the following, when you look at a girl:
- chemistry
- mental
- spiritual
You will have to work at holding on to the reins of chemistry.
Do not worry about, “She loves me, she loves me not.”
Keep moving and seek adventure with a girl (activities, sports, travel), so you get to spend time together and see what she is like.
Do not remain stuck, back at, “She loves me, she loves me not.”
Ignore pressures from contemporaries and people who will pester and tease you about “sexual accompishments.”
Be careful, because many girls know that they have power over you:
- chemistry
- “he said, she said”
Some girls will test their powers. Some will lie about you.
So, approach, and be around, but with caution.
The law of the land is not on your side. Be close to Jesus, doing what you can figure, that Jesus would suggest.
If they’re so adamant that they have control over their own bodies, why do they need abortions?

Well, you were telling the poster that leading with politics on a date was psychotic.
But correct since we weren’t on a date. But every date after was mostly political talk, food, movie and then night moves. 😉
Both are best avoided completely if one is looking for any kind of serious relationship.
You weren’t on a first date, and you met a political event, so clearly you have a different context.
I am saying if you met someone for a first date, and you sit down to have your evening, and thing either one of you feel you need to share with a complete stranger, or need to know about the other right out of the gate is your party affiliation, somethings just fundamentally wrong.
I really don’t care what affiliation the person is, if your political ideology or party affiliation is a primary part of your internal identity that its how you define yourself, there is something just wrong, very very fundamentally wrong.
You, your soul, who you are, what you are, the person you just sat down on your first date knows none of that about you, and conversely you know none of that about them either, and you need to share your party affiliation or find out there’s when looking at that vast unknown of another person, and that’s what you feel is crucially important to share, or to have shared with you, immediately... that’s just wrong, and frankly sad.
All the vastness of the human experience, the uniqueness that every human being is, and political party or ideology is anywhere near the top of the things that identifies you as a person, that’s a pretty messed up set of priorities in that soul, if that’s where someone is in defining themselves.

I have not heard many conservatives saw any such thing.
IMO, women need to start acting like decent marriage prospects instead of sleeping around and feeling entitled.
Table manners can be easily and instantly improved.
Dancing is an entirely different matter.
