I don’t disagree with most of that.

Regardless of one’s “team” - It is hard to not sympathize with Zelenskyy - He has been baited in and now is in an unfathomable position. If you were in his shoes - running out of munitions and suffering massive losses of infrastructure (understand - Ukraine’s infrastructure was not great to begin with) - would you not hope and pray for intervention by those you think of as your allies? And wouldn’t you actively look for ways to get them to help?

I am a supporter of Ukraine and their national integrity and borders (prior to 2014 Russian invasion), which includes Crimea. I also believe they have the right to defend themselves. BUT - lest we forget the circumstances that brought the 2014 loss of territory to Russia and the current war (both enabled by DEMOCRAT administrations). I would favor holding those with a hand in setting it all up accountable.

He used our money to buy Highgrove House from King Charles. How more absurd can it get? Of course it’s Z’s payoff for keeping the laundramat operating. Mansions in McClean VA and Potomac MD for deep state democracy loving anti-MAGA freedom fighters is necessary to keep OurDemocracy TM running for the benefit of those who love OurDemocracy.

Exactly right. They would rather burn down the world then be wrong about this.

China pulling the strings. Good way to get Russia and the US out of the way. And Biden complying every step of the way.

Dude...get out of the 80's. There are no more Soviets. We won. This is China trying to pull us into war. Our enemy is the Chinese funded deep state.

Sympathize with Zelenskyy, the man who danced salaciously in leather gear and stiletto heels on TV, the man who played a piano on national TV with his penis, the comedian who played the President of Ukraine on TV and thought that was good enough to allow him to do the job in real life.?

You have got to be kidding.

1. Anti-Putin Russians say they launched a cross-border attack from Ukraine. Here’s what we know

“The images are arresting: Russian fighters aligned with Ukraine crossing the border into Russia’s Belgorod region, seizing a checkpoint and sowing confusion and anger in Moscow.

Residents of the settlements under attack in Russia’s Belgorod region have been resettled in other areas as authorities continue “clearing the territory” after the cross-border incursion that launched in Ukraine, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Tuesday.

But questions linger about the groups behind the attack, how it took place, and what it means for the war: Was this a classic piece of a military sleight-of-hand, a brief show of force meant to confuse and distract Russian commanders? Does it signal the emergence of serious armed opposition inside Russia? Or are there murkier forces at work?

Here’s what you need to know.” [excerpt]

Do you fine people accept this kine from the article, “launching mass terror attacks all over Russia”?

That is a bald face lie.

If you click through to the article he provides examples. Of course in modern war both sides view their actions as legitimate and their opponents as terrorism (see Hamas vs Israel as an example). I don't have biographic information on Simplicius, I suspect he's Russian. He seems to be able to read Russian at least.

In any case the Russians consider the recent"ISIS" attack on the concert a mass casuality terrorist attack, and blame Ukraine for it. More recently (and covered in the article) the Ukies filled a Cesna with high explosives and drone piloted it 100 miles into Russia and exploded in into a college dorm.

Intentiinal? Accidental? Terrorism?

Are the details on all this clear enough to throw around accusatiins of lying.

I think not.

“”””It is and always has been a war of Attrition.””””

Not at all, originally it was going to be a well-oiled modernized, restructured, Russian military pulling off a quick and clean low casualty operation, with some possible weeks of mopping up any stray resistance that resisted the new government, a display to the world of the new Russia and its new, modern military.

Nobody expected that it would turn into the bloodiest European war since WWII and that it would drag on for years and become a war of attrition that would drain the old Soviet stocks of armor and artillery and of massive Naval and Air losses.

Maybe others including some news stories said that.
I never did. When UMCRevMom started to post her propaganda here,
I said repeatedly that it would be a War of Attrition.
And it turns out I was right.

I don’t know when that member stated posting but this invasion turned into a quagmire that changed it into a war of attrition, it was never intended as such by Putin.

The original plan was not for Russia to keep dying in the endless 10s of thousands until they exhausted Ukraine’s ability to kill them.

For me it has always been a War of attrition.
And that’s where it stands today.
Unfortunately for the Ukies, Ruzzia will win war of attrition
no matter how much money the U.S. and Europe throws at YouCrayne.

My interest is in the Russian and China military threat to America.

This war has weakened Russia for years and set back whatever plans they had for the next step after Ukraine, and it has awakened NATO and us and our Pacific allies and has given us all years to gear up, unify, and improve our readiness and weapons and ammo manufacturing, and of course learn from what we are watching.

Zeepers like you say Ruzzia is a threat.
On the other hand you say they are not a threat because they were
supposed to take YouCrayne in 3 days.
Which one is it?
You and your fellow Zeepers are a confused bunch.

I’m not a zeeper and I didn’t say that russkie, but you seem to have lost that little rationality you had for a little bit, then you collapsed again into emotionalism.

Read that post again.

That paragraph translates to Ruzzia is a threat.

“Nobody expected that it would turn into the bloodiest European war since WWII and that it would drag on for years and become a war of attrition that would drain the old Soviet stocks of armor and artillery and of massive Naval and Air losses.”

That translates to Ruzzia is not a threat.

Which paragraph is true Zeeper?

You don’t read very well, Russia is a threat, getting tied up in a quagmire for a few years or suffering setbacks does not change that, read those posts again.

I guess you don’t recognize that a strong national defense American with strategic views on the Russia/China threats can be just that, as I say, my interest is in the Russia and China threats, you seem to see Ukraine versus Russia as some sort of choosing teams for your rah-rah emotional trolling, that doesn’t appeal to me or interest me.

Ruzzia is not trying to take ALL of Ukraine.
Only the Ukraine Territories that speak Russian.
Territories Zelensky did not even allow to vote in Presidential Elections.
And yet, Zeepers constantly remind us that Ruzzia is having trouble doing that.
What makes Ruzzia a threat?
