In a recent episode of Tucker Carlson’s talk show, former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo made a guest appearance, sparking a conversation that delved into their respective firings, the January 6 tapes, and Tucker Carlson’s interview with Vladimir Putin.
It can be recalled that CNN announced in 2021 that the cable network fired host Chris Cuomo, “effective immediately,” following an investigation into Cuomo using his journalism contacts to help defend his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D), when he was facing numerous allegations of sexual assault by female staffers.
Cuomo also quit his SiriusXM radio show after being fired from CNN. He is now a host at NewsNation.
Meanwhile, Tucker Carlson was fired from Fox News in April 2023 despite hosting a top-rated show!
The episode, which aired on Monday on X, saw Cuomo and Carlson discussing their respective departures from their previous networks, the controversial January 6 tapes, and Carlson’s notable interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The conversation between Cuomo and Carlson offered viewers a rare glimpse into the minds of two influential media personalities, as they shared their perspectives on the ethical dilemmas facing journalists today. Touching on topics such as journalistic integrity, media bias, and the challenges of navigating a rapidly evolving news environment.
“Why is Chris Cuomo sitting in my living room? Well, I’ve never met Chris Cuomo before today. And, of course, for years, I was incredibly mean to Chris Cuomo on TV,” said Tucker.
“Why? I can’t really say now, but I’ll say this: He was one of the very first people to call me, completely out of the blue. I have no idea how he got my number after I left my job last spring. And that began a series of conversations, very long conversations, in which I discovered that Chris Cuomo is a really interesting person. [Although] we disagree on some things, we don’t disagree on everything at all.”
“And I thought, “Wow, I wonder how many other people like Chris Cuomo are out there. People I have dismissed or mocked because we disagreed on some things, who actually, if you got to know them, you might learn something.” So, that might be a useful exercise. And so, with that, a conversation with Chris Cuomo begins.”
In his show on News Nation, Cuomo explained why he spoke to Tucker Carlson.
“The big question is, why now? I think the fact that so many people are asking is proof of the problem that confronts us. Why even ask why? Why wouldn’t conversation be natural? The answer is simple here, because their way isn’t working. The way we’re conducting our politics and our media is not working. It’s not helping. In fact, it’s hurting us. It’s driving us apart,” said Cuomo.
This gesture by Tucker Carlson received praise online, with comments such as, “Never thought Tucker would interview him. Very interesting. That’s why Tucker is reputable. He’s willing to interview with people he might disagree with. We could all learn from that.”
Another user said, “Good interview, but it doesn’t change my opinion of the arrogant snake the least bit! [Cuomo] spread too many lies and pure BS!”

The point of Tucker sitting down with Cuomo is that Americans that disagree on issues should be able to sit down and have discussion without trying to destroy one another and see if they can find some kind of common ground.
It is the way civilized people behave.
No one is surprised you have a problem with that because you're discussing human being that has done everything you can to try to keep the war in Ukraine going.

No one is surprised you have a problem with that because you're discussing human being that has done everything you can to try to keep the war in Ukraine going. You have been about the biggest cheerleader for that war since the start - supporting and cheerleading a murderous, dictatorial regime allied with other murderous, dictatorial regimes, supporter of terrorist organizations like Hamas and Islamic Jihad and even holding diplomatic summits with them, terror sponsoring regimes like Syria, Iran, North Korea...constantly posting propaganda articles and even claiming they promote "Judeo-Christian Values" - the same regime that banned evangelism, praises prostitution, erects statues to honor murderous dictators, etc.

Don't forget that here we can agree to disagree. If JimRob says they can post, they can post. I do think the nastiness and pettiness by both sides need to be toned down. And not "I will when so-and-so does!" But in each reply a FReeper writes, civility and respect needs to be shown.

For some reason Tucker Carlson interviewed Chris Cuomo. The majority of the lengthy interview is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Chris Cuomo is either intellectually incapable of understanding the Russia dynamic and how the U.S Intelligence Community (USIC) conducts propaganda efforts against American citizens, or Chris Cuomo is a paid actor within the system he describes as “the game.” From my perspective the former is more likely than the latter.
That said, please pay attention to the prompted segment about Russia, as outlined by Tucker Carlson, that begins at 34:18 and runs through 37:55. If you stay with it until 46:00 it’s worth it; however, the important part is the key four minutes outlined above. Carlson frames the “western” or U.S-led sanction regime against Russia very accurately, and the consequences he describes for the rest of the world is accurate. WATCH FIRST:
After watching this specific segment, I am left with a few takeaways.
First, Tucker is the only person -beside myself- who I have seen accurately outline the cause and consequence of the Russia sanction regime. Why hasn’t Tucker expanded on this in granular detail? The issue is much, much larger, than just simple sanctions. There is a global agenda afoot, an intentional global cleaving, which was predicated by that specific sanction regime.
Second, he knows. You can tell by the way Tucker frames the “I don’t know what’s really going on” aspect, that he really does know…. but he’s scared. Tucker is scared of the consequences if he outlines in detail how the USIC and by extension the entire USA governmental system, is using Russia as a tool toward a larger corporate/globalist agenda.
It is annoying, albeit somewhat understandable in the larger picture, to see important voices who have reach – recoil and self-censor because they are fearful of the personal consequences. Things are about to get very ugly. The Western dollar-based financial system is being weaponized against liberty. The American people are about to discover the scale and scope of consequence behind this intent, and the American people deserve to know the details of how and why this global cleaving is being pushed.
I’m reluctantly going back to Washington DC on Thursday. From there I will know the likelihood of my own risk that will come as an outcome of my choice not to recoil or self-censor. More on that to follow tomorrow.
For now, just pay attention to that segment on Russia from 34:18 to 46:00 overall.
Specifically, the three to four minutes that start at 34:18 is the most important.

I’m about halfway through and think its a good interview. Cuomo is no dummy and now that he’s been cast aside by the main stream he seems to have freed himself from their malign influence. He clearly admires Carlson’s ability to bounce back from getting fired, which Cuomo admits he struggles with.
