Yep. I can’t remember when they announced the move (two years ago?), but I remember discussions here on the issue. Several firearm and firearm accessory companies have moved out of blue states and into more gun-friendly red states over the past ten or so years. I believe Georgia (as in this case), SC, and Tennessee are the destination for most of them. Each time, the politicians and anti-gunners from the abandoned state issues press-releases celebrating the loss of the business, tax-dollars, and jobs. They tell the now unemployed workers how much safer they will be.
The destination state celebrates the new business, tax-dollars, additional jobs, and abundance of new (and sometimes less expensive) firearms in their state.

What Remington does is pretty specialized and employees that have those skills are not growing on trees.
I would bet they have a relocation plan for the workers if they want to get out of New York.
If so, I would like to see them all move to Texas or Kansas.
Just get out of NY.

More businesses need to do that after the way they have shown they will prosecute you for your beliefs.
It’s always the actual workers who are hurt by the governments’ policies.
The leaders of NY don’t give a rip about this region.

S&W went to Maryville, TN. Kimber moved to Troy, AL. Beretta moved to Gallatin, TN. Troy Industries, a maker of firearms accessories, moved to Clarksville, TN. All are leaving high tax, anti-gun blue states for greener pastures.
Winchester and Colt, you will be treated better in America.

So now we have a deal.
52 States. 104 Senators.
Plus if we play the long game, the Republicans have a chance of being competitive in Puerto Rico. The Hispanics are not a monolithic voting bloc.
Westchester is just north of NYC...very wealthy,very suburban,very “progressive”.
