The swap is actually good. Israel gets some of the hostages still living back - and the IDF gets more opportunity to eliminate Hamas.
Israel couldn't really kill them in prison - the battlefield is a different story.

That was my first thought, too. Those 150 can celebrate today because tomorrow they are dead. And the hostages will be safe and living.
