Ukraine is a jobs program for the "military industrial complex."
Senate Minority Leader Mitch “Glitch” McConnell spoke at the defense industry-funded CEPA Forum in Washington D.C. .. and made a very revealing comment about the state of the war in Ukraine.
$$$
Doesn’t bother this POS about all those people dying. I despise Mitch.
Gotta keep those wars going!
500,000 unnecessary deaths offered up to the MIC by our Imperial Senate. I’ll celebrate when this pig takes his dirt nap.
And that POS Romney thinks it’s a great way to spend our tax dollars. They are both despicable.
Military acquisitions is totally screwed up. Has been since at least the 1990s. Everything costs too much. Everything is behind schedule. Technical requirements take a back seat to budget and scheduling (which, as noted, are a disaster).
But don’t worry — we’re throwing money at the problem.
So....how many people must die to re-industrialize the arms industry??
“So....how many people must die to re-industrialize the arms industry??”
Exactly, and Mich is fine with this??? No wonder they are fighting Trump so hard to keep him out of office.
Lifelong dedication to the Military-Industrial Complex!
Imagine if those factories were just given the money and the ammo was just stored here……..hundreds of billions of dollars worth.
There’s more behind the scenes going on. Graft is a major part of it.
EC
No problem then Russia can set our arms industry back just by stopping the war.
Screw Russia and their hamas partners. We obviously need to revitalize our arms industry.
Most of us could see that. But the media is all in, and the morons in the public think their Ukraine flags show how much they care.
I have been preaching for 18 months that we have been blundered into a generational, multi trillion dollar new arms race of Cold War II regardless of how Ukraine eventually plays out.
Ike was right.
What did he say?
I can’t wait to piss on his grave.
