Chinese fighter intercepts highlights America's collapse
Unto the Breach ^ | Oct. 18, 2023 | Chris Carter

The Pentagon disclosed that Chinese fighters have conducted more dangerous intercepts of American military aircraft in the last two years than that of the past decade. This is because China knows we are led by a very weak and compromised president who will do nothing to stop them. These incidents are a tool to show the world China can do what it wants to the United States and there isn't a damn thing we will do about it.

China and Russia have sent fighters dangerously close to our aircraft during every presidential administration. One Chinese fighter even collided with an EP-3 Orion aircraft during the George W. Bush administration, destroying a Chinese fighter and crippling our plane. Russia sends warplanes near our airspace and buzzes our aircraft carriers. One Russian pilot recently took out a unmanned MQ-9 Reaper drone over the Black Sea earlier this year.

What keeps them from taking out one of our manned aircraft? There is no need to. Russia and China both know they are no match for a competently led United States military, but we do not have competent commanders. America is politically fractured, with most of Washington viewing regular Americans as far bigger enemies than China or Russia. The military leadership has been politicized and corrupted. There are still good sailors, soldiers, airmen, and Marines, but it is only a matter of time before cultural rot ruins the entire institution. There is no need for China or Russia to risk war with us when Washington, D.C. is destroying America from within.

The best thing China and Russia can do is exactly what they are doing: stay out of the way while the United States collapses. And in the meantime, harass our aircraft to show the world that allying with the United States is now...

I imagine China considers Biden like we did Hermann Goehring. The Allies would loved to have taken out a lot of Nazi Germany's leaders during World War II, but Goehring did more damage to the Luftwaffe than we could have. Sometimes your enemy's leader is so bad you want to keep him in power.

China especially, but also Russia, having large and growing economies, and technology, weaponry and ability to project power they simply didn’t have 20-30 years ago.

Biden is certainly a pervert, a vegetable and a puppet, but China and Russia will not go away if Trump is elected. They will continue to do exactly what they are doing now, especially if the USA remains very engaged in Taiwan and Ukraine.

In any future honest appraisal of U.S Presidents, Biden will go down as either the worst or, if not THE worst, in the bottom three.

Yawn. This was routine during the Cold War. Nothing new.

The release of the photos propaganda to scare people about China as China hosts the Belt and Road Forum this week a big diplomatic-economic win for China.

Leaders from all over the world there from Hungary and Serbia to African and Asian nations and of course Vladimir Putin.

Heck the other week Chuck Schumer and Republican Senator Mike Crapo of Idaho in China, South Korea and Japan where people save their money no doubt trolling for cash to prop up wasteful spending here in the USA.

If some jet gets that close couldn’t they just let loose a flare “accidentally” into it’s engine intake?

The official response could be one of those disingenuous “Sorry man, my bad”?

It’s pretty quiet now. We haven’t lost surveillance aircraft for some time.

I know. I was there and saw some of these things. That said, we never had any Soviet aircraft “buzz” our carrier within eyeshot, though they did launch off the ready CAT occasionally, and when crossing the Atlantic, ALWAYS had a Tomcat with two Phoenix, two Sparrow, and two Sidewinder armed and tied down on the ready CAT.

Don’t know how close the Chicoms or the Russians get today.

Yes but it generates clicks. And gives an excuse for more “we’re all gonna die” click bait.

It happened in that era with Badgers, Backfires and Bears.

Yes...I remember hearing about that incindent.

I do recall only one time where a Bear was visible, and it had two Tomcats with it, but it was about five miles away IIRC. Came through a break in the clouds...

Yet today, these flybye’s/buzzing are the end of America.

China and Russia have sent fighters dangerously close to our aircraft during every presidential administration.

Almost fifty years ago a Naval Air Facility had a running challenge for bragging rights for the flight crew that took the best photograph of a Soviet Aircraft.

This photo is from Smithsonian Air and Space Magazine.

This is from NARA & DVIDS Public Domain Archive.

Meanwhile we trickle military assistance to Ukraine (they need a lot early on amd didn’t get it) while the financial assistance gets squandered and laundered.

China’s economy, currently, is a total disaster...

Three years of slowdown have devastated exports...

Three years of slow down have left most major cities with closed businesses and empty buildings...

Three years of slow down have filled the streets with unemployed beggars...

The past year of huge floods shut down almost every major city and did hundreds-of-billions in damages...

I think the caption indicated it was a Tupolev Tu-95 Bear.
