Yes, this is an excellent idea since Romney is such a great example of success when looking for advice in running a Presidential campaign.

Whoever is advising DeSantis (Lincoln Project?) to distance himself from Trump supporters is doing him no favors. DeSantis could run a campaign differentiating himself slightly from Trump without totally alienating the Trump base. Instead, it appears he has has thrown in totally with the Rove/Romney Bush consulting groups that consists of mainly never-Trumpers. I’m truly disappointed he is taking this route.
