He and his campaign did nothing to stop the ballot harvesting, dropboxes, and other abuses.
All state issues that the federal government has no control over. And DeSantis is disingenuous for leaving that tidbit out.
At no time does he talk about the state level Secretaries of State that changed voting laws and procedures.
Pres Trump had no authority over what Georgia, Penn, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, Nevada did.

Try checking out actual facts. The only ones that can make or change State election laws are the State Legislatures. That was decided when Bush sued Gore in the Supreme Court to stop the hanging chad recounts. As well, there were several State cases brought to the Supreme Court after the 2020 election that specifically dealt with voter laws being changed by individuals other than the State Legislature, and the Supreme Court chose to ignore their decision in 2000, and wouldn't accept the cases.
Trump had no authority to do anything that you claim. Drop boxes, ballot harvesting is all decided by the States. And after Gore tried to steal the election in 2000, what did Congressional Republicans do about Federal election reform in the 20 years that followed? Absolutely nothing, and you want to blame Trump? You're way off base.

Ron, with his supermajority in the FL legislature still hasn't changed Florida's machine voting and extended voting.
He doesn't even advocate for it. In fact he's fine with the machines. He even promotes Dominion's lawyers.
And he refuses to say that the 2020 election was stolen by Biden.

I said he eventually moved on and supported the team, which is true. At the convention, he was understandably still seething at Trump’s despicable accusation against his father and his insulting words about his wife Heidi’s appearance. Additionally, you’ll recall that Trump referred to Cruz repeatedly as “Lyin’ Ted Cruz”. Of course, that’s all fair game for the Only-Trump crowd.
I want presidential candidates to truthfully state their positions and not play word games.
It looks like he’s trying to placate his elite donor class who wants Trump gone, and balance it against angering the maga voters. Imo it won’t work.
Mitchell was a staunch supporter of Trump for four years. Then he got upset in January of this year because President Trump began attacking DeSantis. You might ask why did Trump start attacking DeSantis? Because he knew before anyone else that the little weasel was going to ignore his promise to the people of Florida, and make a run for President. Other people besides Mitchell couldn't understand why Trump was going after DeSantis, when DeSantis hadn't even announced his entrance into the race. But that's the problem with people who criticize Trump. They fail to realize that the guy is usually right about things, and amazingly knows things before anyone else. And he knew about DeSantis too.
DeSantis didn't just decide this past May to run for President. Those plans don't happen overnight. It takes months of planning, not to mention gathering backers and money people. The fact is, that DeSantis knew last Fall, while he was asking the people of Florida to re-elect him, that once he was re-elected, he would soon be launching his campaign for President. And it was less than 6 months after his re-election, that he announced his campaign on Twitter. The people who support DeSantis have been flim-flammed by a lawyer, who thought he could lie and get away with it. And he's been a failure on the campaign trail. But not to worry about that. DeSantis knew he had a weak shot at being the GOP candidate to begin with. That's why he got the State Legislature to change the Resign-to-Run law, so he wouldn't have to quit, and could continue to get a paycheck on the campaign trail, while also having a job to go back to when he crashes and burns.
