Former Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake of Arizona alleged Saturday that she was offered a bribe to stay out of politics for two years.
“Something happened to me this week before I left for CPAC, and it shows how desperate these people are to stop me,” Lake said during the 2023 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

Expose these people now, namely put up or shut up. She will lose credibility quickly if she continues with this type of Conspiracy nonsense. Frankly why would anyone bribe her to stay out of politics. So prove it or forget running again for any office.
Lake conveniently omits this detail.
If she said that out loud, she has to say who it was. You can’t “play” with that.

Either side may be offering her the “silver or lead” choice.

Who is “They?”
They will Palin-ize her if she tries to run for any other office. She would be more effective returning to media on a conservative (i.e., non-Fox) platform.
Frankly...I think she's "twisting" what actually might have happened. Remember, she's a journalist.

The left knows it can now cheat to win elections and no one will object. Both Democrats and Republicans have endorsed the fraud since it was needed to rid the nation of both Trump and the candidates he supported.
Too many people think the fraud was a “one-off” and now things will return to the usual level of election shenanigans. All they needed to do was remove Trump from the equation and the “good ole boys (and girls)” club, can once again be seen together at the same cocktail receptions.
Boy, are they going to be surprised come 2024 when every GOP candidate loses by large margins. The ballot fraud is now baked in and since the GOP has not objected, it is doubtful even local city or county candidates can win in the future.
I can’t believe so many “conservatives” are okay with this!

I heard the speech, and I don’t recall if she said she knew the person who called and wanted to come over and speak to her face-to-face. If she did NOT know the person, I can’t believe she’d let him come to her home; he could be any whack job. She must have known him.

I agree. I sometimes wonder why I directly fought the Cold War and had coworkers die gruesome deaths trying to keep communism at bay when even supposed conservatives want to just curl up in a corner, suck their collective thumbs, and hope (hope is not a valid plan) it somehow goes away. Or hope others will do the fighting while they whine.

Why don’t you go away. She’s the only politician other than Trump and possibly DeSantis that is fighting back.
