A viral video shows the hilarious moment a dog named Cowboy swept his owner's legs from under her after engaging in the zoomies. In the video, the dog is seen running around before inadvertently sweeping his human mom's legs from behind, causing both of them to fall dramatically.
They always act so innocent and concerned.
This happened to me recently.
I was on some steps.
It hurt.
Dog ok.
Untrained dogs or under trained dogs behave that way.
Man I hated that!! Back in the days we had poles out at the end of the dock with bells. And when a fish hit we would run out the 200 feet or so bee lining for the dock!! Our 2 Labs would do this constantly!! Little ba****D’s!!! Got me a face plant numerous times!!
What are zoomies?
Labs are the greatest. My little Black Lab gets the zoomies sometimes particularly as we get close to the dog park and he wants to get in SO BADLY! He’ll suddenly bolt toward the gate and has rapped my knuckles on the outer gate many times and/or taken me off my feet when he suddenly bolts on wet grass.
Watch the video.
What are zoomies?
Well at my house, when my dog finishes pooping, she tears around the back yard as fast as she can go for about 5 minutes.
We call it scooter butt.
Scooter butt! Ha! Better name for it.
In our house we call it a whack attack.
Yes, we find a direct correlation between racing speed and hips aerodynamically tucked down low to the ground. Thus, scooter butt.
I used to go out on weekend mornings with a regular group of dog walkers. The motto of all was “keep your knees loose”.
Or dogs that need more exercise.
I’m amazed at how few people regularly walk their dogs.
Or 90 pound puppies.
Course my 13 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier will do it when playing.
Nothing about being well trained.
Had a cocker in my adult life who was the ultimate beach dog!! He was buff but the top of his head his hair was almost white and poker straight... He always got the typical cocker hair cut but never did I cut his crown... His mane!!
In his prime I took very good care of his grooming... Awesome bell-bottoms and his hair on his head was a pony tail that was longer than his body!! Long story short, that dog got me so many girls phone numbers just roller blading with him at the beach!!
I never had him on a leash... Never... He listened well 99% of the time and always stayed right next to me as I bladed. One day however, we were at a new metro park and he seen some ducks swimming in a near by pond and off he went!! Full throttle and into a picture perfect launch into the water!! By the time I walked across the grass in my skates, and got him out of the water, two ranger cars pull up... $150 ticket for “letting” my dog swim in a duck sanctuary!!! Lmao...
We never went back to that one!!
If you let your dogs get away with bad behavior.
It sounds like a personal problem.
Bingo.
Twenty bucks, same as in town.
