It's a great source for gathering specific topics and coordinating them into a cohesive collection for possible analysis.
But, like Wikipedia, when it comes to looking for a conclusion to a political, social, cultural or similar topic, the left-wing "Wokeness" will bleed through ChatGPT and permanently stain the final result.
Best to avoid these shortcuts and expend the extra search time--the fact-gathering experience gained will be worth far more than the time saved in using the deeply compromised ChatGPT.
This is not AI. This is a computer regurgitating left-wing speak upon demand. Garbage in — Garbage out. They are pretending it is some artificial intelligence that is “thinking” and coming up with responses. It is not. A lot of someones have spent a lot of hours creating algorithms to create responses to questions on almost every subject.
You can tell it is left-wing garbage by the answers the AI will give to two almost identical situations, with the only difference being one involves a conservative and the other involves a leftist. Something that is condemned if done by a conservative, is praised if done by a progressive.
