Hank Williams, The Persecution Of Cardinal Pell And Leftist Australian Police. Some Very Scattered Thoughts On Modern Christianity And Social Decay. (Personal)

St Paul's Anglican Cathedral in Melbourne, Australia, has a partisan political message on a massive billboard above the cathedral's front entrance:

Let's Fully Welcome Refugees.

The Archbishop has verbally acknowledged me as a refugee from Australia in Australia. And followed up in writing.

Yet when police interrupted me praying at the entrance with an Aboriginal on 9/11 and dragged me away and physically assaulted and groped me (sexual assault), rather than talk with me, the Archbishop chooses silence.

The police are now taking me to court.

The leftist police.

The ones who persecuted the late Cardinal George Pell with 404 days in imprisonment when all they could prove was that he conducted a mass.

When Pell was attacked by kangaroo courts, all but a handful of Christians were silent. His most vigorous public defender was the atheist polemecist conservative columnist Andrew Bolt.

Hank Williams wrote that straight is the path and narrow the way. In his world over 70 years ago, that was glorious. But the times they have been changing dramatically ever since.

Now I think that the Australian churches which I know must throw off their silences and engage in better more honest dialogue. That is living in The Word for me.

Logos. Rationality. Discourse.

St Patrick's Catholic cathedral has much better words at its entrance.

Omnia Omnibus.

All things for all people.

For those with conservative and very traditionalist views, there need to be spaces, churches, schools and universities and health services where they can share and practise their faith. Freely. Safely.

But the sick secular society of unhappy directionless people needs a less rigid type of Christianity and openness from other faiths too.

What religions teach is overwhelmingly good. There are terrorist exceptions. Osama. Mao. McVeigh.

If Christians in The West embrace and defend freedom, then freedom has a chance.

And then we all have a chance.

A police force that interrupts and assaults anyone at prayer at a church door is just plain evil.

Defend your freedoms, America.

Be warned and wary of how far to a soulless Leftwing lunacy Australia has descended.

The righteous need to take a stand. But courage is lacking.

“ Hank Williams wrote that straight is the path and narrow the way.”

Straight is the gate and narrow the way, which Williams quoted from The Bible in I Saw the Light.

Follow up. I’m wrong. It’s strait is the way.

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which
leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matt 7:14

I never heard that song until it was perfomed by Johnny Cash repreatedly when he murdered his shrew of a wife in a Columbo episode. That was one of those episodes where you have some sympathy for the murderer. (along with Patrick McGoohan running a Military Academy and Donald Pleasance as a vintner)
