Elon musk has promised to make Twitter a safe place for comedy again.
God Bless Him.
This is in the spirit of Mark Twain.
And Donald Trump.
And Will Rogers.
Welcome back Babylon Bee!
I think Communist party USA (democrats) are angry about all this freedom of speech.
I understand there is a group of musk chosen people of varied opinions meeting to determine any guidelines - but I think it's safe saying it won't be eliminating political differences. ------------------
Elon posted:
Twitter will be forming a content moderation council with widely diverse viewpoints.
No major content decisions or account reinstatements will happen before that council convenes.
I may activate my account again
I pulled the plug when they censored Trump which was the only reason I signed up - to read his mean tweets. I miss them
The left will lose their ever loving minds, since they are completely humor challenged.
This is one area the US has lost big on...humor. It’s like half of the country just decided jokes and laughter was bad. The folks on the left can’t laugh at themselves or laugh with others because they get easily offended. When did they decide that humor was a bad thing? Even SNL isn’t the least funny anymore because the show is afraid of offending someone. We have become a nation of fear instead of a nation of freedom.
I have been watching Sanford and son, Barney Miller and The Jefferson’s reruns the last couple weeks.
Boy,how times have changed.
Humor sure takes the edge off things.
Most of the racial jokes on these shows were directed at whites. They we’re written to show that racism was so stupid it was funny when you stood back and looked at it from both sides.
The communists don’t want anything like that happening now days. It would ruin their plans.
Surprised these shows haven’t been erased like rock n roll ni**er was.
And we all loved those shows. Those were the days I guess. You’re right that today, those shows can still be shown and not censored. It may be a matter of time.
