Ooops! It wasn't supposed to be like this or so Magistrate Bruce Reinhart probably thought when he signed off on the Mar-a-Lago search warrant. So instead of it being a low-key affair as the FBI and DOJ most likely assured him, the FBI raid on President Donald Trump's home has turned into a Backfire Hurricane of a political firestorm with poor Reinhart at the very center of it. And now Reinhart is showing some signs of backing off especially since the public spotlight has focused on certain unsavory activities of his in the past. In fact, if Reinhart had access to a Time Machine is their any doubt there is a certain search warrant that he would definitely NOT sign?

It is amazing that this magistrate is allowed to approve any warrants, since he doesn’t seem to have even a layman’s basic understanding of constitutional and legal protections that must be met before signing the warrant.
I doubt it. A judge would be crazy to put his signature on a warrant believing that. No the magistrate knew exactly what he was doing. He was just too biased and dumb to realize the ramifications. He had already recused himself and should have passed. The attention he is getting is not good. I bet he regrets his decision and is trying to find a way out.

I keep picturing Bruce Reinhart as the Flounder (”Animal House”) of Operation Backfire Hurricane. And now they are telling him, “Hey, you f-—ed up. You trusted us!”

There is plenty for Trump counsel to use here. Starting with his social media contempt for Trump and his relationship with Epstein.
REINHART: "Sorry, but I already RECUSED myself from the Trump lawsuit."
FBI: "Hey, this raid will be very low-key. Just a minor legal matter that probably won't even be noticed."
REINHART: "Sorry, I just can't for the reason I already told you."
FBI: "You wouldn't want the public be reminded about your very sleazy relationship with Jeffrey Epstein in which you resigned from the DOJ only to give Epstein insider info as his defense counsel?"
REINHART: Do you prefer my search warrant signature in blue or black ink?
