Weak GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy spoke with Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures this morning from Poland.
The Republican House leader called for arming Ukraine. Kevin McCarthy then discussed the GOP plan if the party takes control of Congress next year. _________________
McCarthy said nothing about election integrity. He would not commit to the impeachment of Joe Biden but will “look where the evidence leads us.” He said nothing about the DOJ-FBI apparatus that targets Trump and his supporters and sets up ordinary Americans in their evil schemes. He said nothing about the political prisoners held in jail today after attending the J-6 rally. He said nothing about the assault on our freedoms. Nothing on the tech giants and media lies.
This guy will do nothing. It’s clear now. McCarthy comes from the same line as John Boehner and Paul Ryan. The GOP elites will do nothing as the country burns. We all know it.

Wasn’t it bad enough we had Paul Ryan? Now THERE was a feeble reed to lean upon, as he would not provide the leadership necessary for the Trump program to get established early in Trump’s Presidency. Probably nearly as much of the Trump agenda was accomplished with Nancy Pelosi as Speaker.
Now, if we could just get Jim Jordan or Steve Scalise in the job, be no problem at all in controlling how the flow of bills and the management of the vote goes.

In 2018 Jim Jordan ran against Kevin McCarthy for leadership of the House Republicans. He lost by a vote of 159-43. It appears the Republicans in the House, when given a choice between a California establishment moderate and a strong conservative, prefer having a moderate.

That’s my take on things. Unless someone can can run against him as speaker(?), nothing will change. Just like when Paul Ryan was speaker and the Republicans won the house and they all ran on repealing Obamacare.......seriously, it’s us versus them.

Yes either Jordan or Scalise should be the next Speaker, not McCarthy. Both would pursue election integrity and full on investigate both January 6th (Pelosi’s roll and other things not touched by the current sham committee) and the Biden crime family, hopefully leading to Biden’s impeachment.
Trump needs to make up for his Dr. Oz endorsement fiasco and NOT ENDORSE McCarthy as the next speaker. He needs to endorse either Scalise or Jordan as next Speaker!

There’s a huge disconnect between elected representatives and their constituents.
Addressing vote fraud would be a winning issue for Republican leaders but they avoid it like the plague.
