For those of you familiar with my work on the Cloward Piven Strategy of Manufactured Crisis, you may be interested to know that I wrote a new book: Who Was Karl Marx? The Men, the Motives and the Menace Behind Today's Rampaging American Left. It summarizes my decades of study of communism and the American Left, and describes what is going on today, how we got here, who got us here, what were their motives and the longest chapter offers some ideas on how to get us out of this ungodly mess.

Many people have issues with Ayn Rand’s atheism, but it is a mistake to throw out the baby with the bathwater, and many people make that mistake.
Her views an altruism are spot on, and relevant.

People have to join sometime. If the book is valid, it should be right up our alley. It isn’t like a blog, which usually involves ongoing pollution by a blogger.

I have likely been here longer than you, Fungi, unless you are a retread, which would say something about you. I likely have more direct interaction with real published authors than you, Fungi, especially here on FR. I am probably older than you and have more life experience with people and situations.

Yes. Some of us might appreciate having a real published author sign up on the site we enjoy with the chance we might get to hear their opinion on something they spent years of time and effort exploring, enough to write a book.
Jim Simpson has written the definitive book on Marx, his followers and their collective toxic impact now being played out across America. He also charts a viable path out of this mess. You need to read this book!
