Russian army is firing from all sides upon Zaporizhzhia NPP, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe. Fire has already broke out. If it blows up, it will be 10 times larger than Chornobyl! Russians must IMMEDIATELY cease the fire, allow firefighters, establish a security zone!— Dmytro Kuleba (@DmytroKuleba) March 4, 2022

If true, this justifies NATO giving air cover.
Putin must be mad.
Query, why should I give a $hit?
Ukraine is a $hithole of corruption.
One day China might decide to make Mexico or Canada a part of their imperial project. Station nuclear missiles there too. Be O.K with that would ya
Not sure how to read this.
Is the Ukrainian guy saying they will let the reactor go critical, and damm the world forever unless ?
Wag the Dog
Another fake CIA planted story. Also heard that Ukraine forces repelled Russians moving toward the plant. CNN and MSNBC are running wild with the story.
What really scares me is these people run DC like a Russian gulag. American’s are waking up to a reality that the left has a thirst for power that is insatiable...
look how they went berserk over Three Mile Island...and the plant worked exactly as designed. Japan had a full blown TRIPLE meltdown after a giant earthquake and tsunami and nothing really happened...stuck with a bunch of contaminated water..which is actually a good thing..
This is Cia poo poo. Don’t sniff it........
I agree it’s fear mongering. I think they’re worried because there’s bombing going on so close by. I thought these things were hardened, but maybe that’s western power plants.
Yeah, shut down 25% of their power grid. Might as well help the Russians.
Reactor 6 is the one currently receiving the shelling, it is under renovation and shut down already. Nuclear fuel is inside the reactor. Reactor 6 building is on fire, fire crews attempting to put it out are taking fire and backed away.
This from Epoch Times, not Fox.
Reuters (yeah, I know) says the building on fire is a training building.
Does anyone over there really know anything about WTF is truly going on?
Epoch Times is correct here.
I have friends on the ground IVO Zaporizhzhia, and it didn’t just take a few hits, it’s been under ongoing attack.
This is total nuts -
This plant goes down, approx 12 million people without any power. And that is the least of the problems.
He did say that and later Ukrainian energy minister has corrected it saying it’s wrong and it won’t blow up.
Crisis communication failure.
“If true”.
Was the shut down just as the attack started, or very soon before, as a precaution, or was it shut down for maint or repair.
If the latter, then what were those 12 mil doing for juice in the meantime?
NATO is not going to war just because the Russians did an SOP to control the power plants.
IS the Ukraine and Globalists going to kick and scream 😱. Yep.
Why are people so damned surprised about this? They already control Chernobyl.
Slow down and ask questions before committing us to be involved in the crap fest.
The winds will blow it east.
“The plant has 6 VVER-1000 pressurized light water nuclear reactors (PWR), each fuelled with U235 (LEU).[1] and generating 950 MWe, for a total power output of 5,700 MWe.[2] The first five were successively brought online between 1985 and 1989, and the sixth was added in 1995. The plant generates nearly half of the country’s electricity derived from nuclear power.”

There were approx 43.5 million people in UA before all this started.
A true strategist might suggest that they blow up their own reactor and then blame it on Russia. Therefore creating so much sympathy and action from other country’s that Ukraine wins.
Not saying that will happen, but yes it could happen the way things work in the world is today.
