Boise, Idaho – Governor Brad Little activated the Idaho National Guard today for the fourth time during the pandemic to alleviate the impacts of COVID-19 in Idaho.

Governor Little activated 75 Idaho National Guardsmen to assist Primary Health and the Idaho Department of Correction, which are experiencing staffing shortages because too many employees are absent from work due to COVID-19.

In addition, Governor Little said he secured 503 additional personnel through a state contract to assist Idaho hospitals overwhelmed by COVID-19.

“I am proud of our men and women of the Idaho National Guard who have stepped up time and again to help our state and communities get through an unprecedented, challenging time. The strain on healthcare, schools, business, and government from the spread of COVID-19 is a reminder that we are not out of the pandemic, and we need to be vigilant about keeping ourselves and our loved ones healthy,” Governor Little said.

If that's the case, I have no sympathy.

They have staffing shortages because if people test “positive” (whether the test is accurate or not), they are required to miss work and go into quarantine even if they have no symptoms. Also, how many have been let go because of vax mandates for health workers?

Lieutenant Governor Janice McGeachin would have had this situation well in hand.

Instead, "Little Brad" Little is shoiting the bed.

They have staffing shortages because they have fired employees that wouldn’t get the jab,, Gov. Little is a RINO who values federal money over freedom.

I barely pay attention to this crap anymore.

What I think I see is that the UK is dropping all restrictions, because COVID is over.
What I think I see is Omicron being little more than the common cold, giving lots of people wonderful herd immunity.
What I think I see is plenty of evidence that social distancing did nothing, masks do nothing, and the vaccine — if it does anything — makes things worse.

And so — governors are panicking and calling out the national guard? Censorship is increasing? The social control is reaching new levels — specifically BECAUSE the virus is now a great big nothing?

This is so not about health.

Gov dumbass, you’re the one who allowed hospitals to fire those who refused the death shot. Now choke on it, punk.

Oh, like Global Warming the narrative has changed slightly. They now confirm that you can still contract and spread the virus, but it keeps you from being admitted to the hospital and most importantly, spares you from death. Of course, like Global Warming, that narrative is hogwash as well.death.

My wife cut short her workday in police/fire/EMS dispatch last Monday out caution for her fellow employees. They had not been as considerate and came to work sick to avoid using their PTO hours. My wife called for an appointment for a COVID test on Monday. Best the clinic could offer was 10:40 AM Wednesday. By noon Wednesday, she had a positive test. I also had a sore throat by that time...and sniffles. Her supervisor has her off until Feb 6th. Meanwhile, the 12 year old poodle that I have carried upstairs every night for the last two years at bedtime became lethargic on Thursday. By Friday, she was finicky about eating and vomited some that she did eat. Friday night her breathing became labored. My wife picked her up Saturday night about 11:50 PM and she died in her arms moments later. Omicron isn't good for senior dogs.

It's now Tuesday morning. I'm over the omicron infection. Ditto for my wife. The nightly subzero temperatures have my poodles bagged body frozen solid. She will go to the vet today for cremation. Sniffles. Mild.

Janice owns a restaurant called "The Celt" in Idaho Falls. I have lunch there on Friday afternoons. She certainly has more sense than Little on many issues.
